Part of a batch I’ve posted before, but seem to have gone missing when I managed to accidentally let Aperture delete a load of photos from Flickr.
Blasted with onOne’s Dynamic Contrast.
Melitta teapot with funky design.
Designed by Axel Wolfgang Werner for Melitta Germany and the pattern is known as Budapest
I had fun making these for a recent swap. I experimented with various textures and colour combinations. Most of them feature textures from my Six Exceptional Textures class. helenbreil.thinkific.com/courses/Textures

This is one of the cutest Christmas cards I've seen! I love how they used to make funky scenes using photos...why don't we do that anymore!?

While exploring the area for the first time around the CP's line in Le Claire, Iowa in 1995, I was surprised by a movement across the river in Port Byron, Illinois. Running on trackage my map showed as 'abandoned', I was caught a little off-guard at the sight of a Soo Line GP38-2 leading a Midwest Coal Handling CF7 and a Paducah and Louisville GP30 on a lumbering freight on the other side of the Mississippi River.
Noticing the closest river crossing was back at the I-80 crossing on that old map, I quickly crossed over into Illinois and gave chase to the local, which was delivering those funky locomotives to a scrap dealer in Cordova.
This is the view of Hopewell Rocks and the Bay of Fundy at the top of the bluff. You see this view as you approach the stairs that descend to the beach. I had the devil's own time trying to "rescue" this image because it was so hazy and desaturated, except for the trees at the upper-right. I adjusted the light levels and saturation to compensate, but the sky and the water of the bay still have the look of light shining through skim milk.
The thin strip of land visible in the distance is the coastline of Nova Scotia.
