When you live in Kansas, you don't get many opportunities at the beach to practice your sand sculpting skills. These were just a few scenes photographed at the Shawnee Mission Sand Volleyball courts, a fund-raiser for the Sunflower House, child abuse prevention center serving residents of Wyandotte and Johnson counties in Kansas.

This lady obviously had a lot more experience and skill than a majority of the contestants.
