An eventful last-Sunday. One of the dogs may have eaten an Advil Cold and Sinus pill that was dropped on the floor. The emergency vet said we should induce vomiting with an ounce and a half of hydrogen peroxide. Fun times followed...

Bixie looves her food and refused to be affected for almost 25 minutes. Then she proceeded to not keep her food down for a few days. Ah, the stress of kids. She's completely back to normal today, though.

Fun Land sign by Southport Pier

We had a great day at 'Blue Lagoon' - named after the colour of the water that just happened to be green on the day we were there. Situated in a lush humid valley to the side of Vangviang, this small but deep river was perfect for cooling off in its cool waters flowing out from a nearby cave in the hills. The tree branches above were perfect for jumping into the see-through waters below, full of fast darting fish of all sizes. After the fun-filled day of swimming, jumping, diving and eating, we rode our bicycles back down the gravel roads and rice paddy filled river valleys back to Vangviang in the early evening.
