Thanks to the advanced photo editing technology, it is quite easy to stitch multiple shots to create a panoramic image. 11 vertical shots stitched.

OK, sorry folks I thought we were done but here is one more of Fuji-san or Fujiyama or Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchiko.

Posting simply because I like the light on the reeds.

Fuji X-H1, XF18/2, 1/25th sec at f/6.4, ISO 400

Fuji-san or Fujiyama or Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchiko.

Penultimate frame (maybe) from the evening by the lake.

Fuji X-H1, XF18/2, 1/17th sec at f/9, ISO 200 Think it's handheld!

Fuji-san or Fujiyama or Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchiko. Obviously very similar to the previous frame posted but with the Ricoh GRii.

The Ricoh can really suffer from a magenta bloom if the sun is too close to/in the edge of the frame. That's why the landscape B&Ws the camera produces are often better than the colour versions. However, using Selective Colour in PS or here, a little soft light gradient, it's possible to bring a bit of the magenta under control.

Maybe it's just my crappy work monitor... but is the upper is a trifle dark or perhaps edged too far into violet? :(

Damn sharp for a tiny little thing.

Ricoh GRii, 18.3/2.8, 1/1000th sec at f/9, ISO 320

Fuji-san or Fujiyama or Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchiko.

Are peeps getting bored yet? Sorry but I've got a couple more to come from this stunning afternoon :-)

Fuji X-H1, XF23/1.4, 10 secs at f/11, ISO 100 - 6 Stop Breakthrough ND filter.

This is a big screen image. Press 'L' on a real screen.

Mt. Fuji over the Tokyo Bay captured from Tateyama located at the tip of the Boso peninsula in Chiba prefecture. The place is about 100km away from Fuji but Fuji can be seen quite clearly when the air is clean.

I watched a video about the Battleship Yamato on YouTube the other day so the silhouette of the large ship kinda reminded me of it.

It is easy to forget the danger, while having this wonderful view. But this is actually a sleeping beauty. Perfectly placed in a wonderful surrounding, but always ready to make one feel the power of nature

Fuji-san or Fujiyama or from Lake Kawaguchiko.

The giant ugly duckling is a pink paddle-boat not the local equivalent of Nessie :-)

Fuji X-H1, XF35/1.4, 1/1000th sec at f/8, ISO 200

The mesmerising Fuji-san or Fujiyama from Lake Kawaguchiko.

Fuji-san apparently cloaks itself in cloud for around 300 days per year. Not so the day we came to view. It was readily apparent to me why Mt Fuji is one of Japan's most sacred mountains and is listed by UNESCO as an object of pilgrimage for centuries. (Thanks Wikipedia).

Lake Kawaguchiko (河口湖) is the most easily accessible of the Fuji Five Lakes with train and direct bus connections to Tokyo. A hot spring resort town with various tourist attractions and views of Mount Fuji is located around the lake's eastern end (between me and the mountain), while the northern and western shores (behind camera) are mostly undeveloped.

Fuji X-H1, XF18/2, 1/1250th sec at f/9, ISO 200

I have been very quiet as the sheer number of potential keepers brought me to a standstill. It's not going to be the only pic... :-)

Mt. Fuji blanketed in white photographed through a valley. Photo in black and white.

I couldn't help but swallow hard when the full moon showed up at the top of Fuji, although I expected this phenomenon and was fully ready to shoot it. It was so quiet as if time had stopped.

Fuji-san or Fujiyama or Mt. Fuji (3776m) from Lake Kawaguchiko.

Trying out the LE with this one. With Mt. Fuji you have to be careful what you wish for but could have done with some cloud really!

I was set a challenge on another platform so decided to break one of my main rules and post several frames from this afternoon by the lake. Apologies in advance if you get bored - normal service will resume at some point :-)

Leica MP Summicron 35mm f2(1965)kodak super gold 400

Iridescent Clouds appeared on top of Fujiyama before Diamond Fuji took place. I preferred this moment than the moment when the sun overlapped the summit.

Few times a year we can get this spectacle from Sunshine City Building in Tokyo, when the Sunset come on the top of Fuji-San(Fujiyama).It's look like a Diamond, sometime probably much better ,but I don't know it ,because was the first time I can get some shots(about 100)without too many clouds.I hope you will like it because the next time will be probably not before the end of the year.
