The CT-133 is an early jet trainer. To build the CT-133 Canadair licensed the design of the Lockheed T-33 trainer, which was adapted from the Lockheed P-80 Shooting Star fighter. The P-80 was designed by the legendary Clarence “Kelly” Johnson, and was one of the first U.S. jet fighters. The CT-133 first flew in 1952, and the Royal Canadian Air Force used CT-133s as trainers until 1976. CT-133s were also used in other roles, such as target towing and enemy simulation, until 1995.
Almost 50 years ago, the Saturn V S-IC-T stage (S-IC static test article) fuel tank was attached to the thrust structure in the vehicle assembly building at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. The S-IC stage, the first stage of the Saturn V rocket, utilized five F-1 engines that used liquid oxygen and kerosene as propellant and provided a combined thrust of 7,500,000 pounds. Our goal 50 years ago was to prove we could land humans on the Moon and return them safely to earth. Now, a half-century later, we are at the cusp of a new era in human exploration, one in which humans will return to the Moon - this time to stay - with NASA leading the charge.

I visit many Bike conventions, museums etc, I snapped this Harley Davidson 1200 customised gas / fuel tank at the Alford GTM motorcycle convention 2016, I love AC/DC though a few had mentioned the image looks more like Donald Trump than Angus Young ,anyways thought I'd post for my Flickr friends to comment and enjoy .
Just for the record I neither agree or disagree with any policy , comment , law etc that Donald Trump implements or shares his views on .

Permission visit to the 237m long Inchindown tanks hidden in the hill from the Nazis for WW2. They was used to store fuel safe from the German bombers and was last used to fuel some of the ships for the Falklands war in 1982. Since then they have been left empty and it now holds the record for the longest echo in the world.
It was quiet an experience to hear the echo inside the tank. The mark on the ceiling running the length of the tank is where they filled the 12m high tank to.
This was a permission visit and can easily be obtained by the group looking after them.

60096 heads towards Barnetby hauling the 6E82 Rectory-Lindsey discharged fuel tanks during a heavy rain storm.
Hammad Int'l Airport is probably one of the worst airports around (in the supposedly "civilized" world)!
60099 sporting it's unique livery approaches Barnetby in spectacular light hauling the Kingsbury-Humber fuel tanks. This visit to Barnetby gave me the chance to photograph the semaphore signals which will be coming down very soon.
This image was inspired by the Dinky Supertoys Leyland Octopus Esso tanker (which had the earlier 'mouth organ' cab), a full-size example of which is fortunately preserved. The registration indicates that the base image here is John Murphy's superbly restored Leyland Octopus tanker, which was photographed by Dave Strickland - my thanks to both gentlemen and I hope that you like the result (21-Dec-16).

I was drawn to this image for two reasons: (1) I flew the Cobra (AH-1G/Q/S models) in the mid-to late 1970's in Germany. (2) It is a really nice depiction of a Cobra.

Photographed in the front yard of a total stranger, we are recreating the scene of a couple dudes hanging out in the front yard with their amazing car.
Industrial worker at an oil and gas refinery / processing plant.
I was getting tired of posting "pretty" fall scenic, so I thought I'd switch gears for a while. The "inspector" guy is actually ME! I set the camera up on a tripod and had another person trip the shutter. This was a paid assignment photograph taken in Wyoming for a major oil company (I think they hire me because I make their plants look "artsy" or pretty :)

Our Extremely Cold Weathered Man is dipping one of the emergency fuel tanks at the "End of the World," an area about 1 mile from the main station. The red jacket is issued to us at the Clothing Distribution Center in Christchurch, NZ.
If I remember right, this photo was taken when it was around -80F (-62.2C).
