Picture Shows Noel Fielding, Mighty Boosh frontman, causing a riot at the Big Chill festivalwhere he was performing a standup routine. He invited a few younger members of the audience on to the stage but was mobbed by more than 20 youths. Security was in disaray as Fielding fell to the stage floor and was mobbed by the youths. La band nasce nel 2008 dall'idea del cantante e frontman dei Kataklysm, l'italo-canadese Maurizio Iacono, e dalla passione per la storia di Roma dovuta alle sue italiche origini.
Nel 2009 viene rilasciato tramite Nuclear Blast Records il primo album, Romulus, dove partecipano come ospiti: Adam "Nergal" Darski, frontman dei polacchi Behemoth, Karl Sanders, frontman degli statunitensi Nile e A.O "Obsidian Claw" Gronbech, fondatore dei norvegesi Keep of Kalessin.
In seguito sono stati reallizzati due video musicali: il primo sulla titletrack Romulus ed il secondo su The Final War (Battle Of Actium).
E' Uscito a fine 2012 il 2° Album Caligvla. Per la realizzazione dell'album è stata richiesta la collaborazione della cantante dei Tristania, l'italiana Mariangela Demurtas.

"Good Vibes For Terri" - a benefit gig for 'godfather of punk' Terri Hooley. Terri founded the Good Vibrations record label and record store back in the 70s and had his life story told in the film of the same name in 2013.
Before Christmas 2014 Terri was taken ill and has been hospitalised for the forseeable future. Many of Terri's friends put together a benefit concert for him at the Limelight Belfast on Sunday 28 December 2014.
Photos taken with a Canon 600D DSLR. I decided to test out frankensteining the camera, shooting fully manual (for the mos part) with a 30 year old Pentacon 2.8/135 lens I hadn't touched in over a decade.

Respecting the subject - Ed Kowalczyk is the frontman of my favourite band, the US based +LIVE+. He has recently started to tour solo doing acoustic gigs. I took my camera along to his Melbourne show, well hidden in the bottom of my bag (I was lacking the almighty 'photo pass' associated with band photography) and with a front row view, set about capturing some photos that would respect Ed's talents.
Challenging conditions included security, low light and changing stage lights and numerous 100's of fellow fans. This is one of the shots that I like the most. Ed performs from the heart and you can see his passion and belief in his music on his face. Often his eyes are closed and it is difficult to get eye contact with him as a result but I feel like I captured some of what he may be feeling in regard to the song he was performing.
I attempted to capture a strong composition in this photo with its obvious triangular lines. Due to low lighting, I thought I'd take advantage of a slower shutter speed and motion blur occurred in his playing hand which I feel adds to the atmosphere I was trying to create in respecting my subject.

* ELVIS TOPS DEAD EARNERS POLL
Rock legend ELVIS PRESLEY has overtaken NIRVANA frontman KURT COBAIN as the
biggest earning dead celebrity.
The Jailhouse Rock hitmaker topped the Forbes magazine poll with earnings of
$58 million (£29 million) during 2007.
Cobain, who pushed Presley off the top spot last year (06) after widow
Courtney Love sold a portion of his recording catalogue, does not feature in
the 2007 list.
Other late stars to feature include former Beatles John Lennon and George
Harrison and slain rapper Tupac Shakur.
Musician James Brown enters the list in 11th place after earning $5 million
(£2.5 million) since dying last year (06).
The top ten is as follows:

Bradford Cox, the frontman of Deerhunter.
It turned out to be quite an amazing evening! First with the solid performance of Women, followed with probably one of the greatest composed livesets I've ever encountered during a concert!
They started off with technical problems, so Bradford showed us his comedian talents (they worked for me). I never would have thought he was so funny and made so much interaction with the public. I've seen that a million times at punk concerts, but not for this kind of concerts/music. A few days earlier I was at the concert of My Bloody Valentine (only footage I took was this lousy movieclip) and they were the epitome of 'shoegazer music'; totally no interaction with the public, a static appearance, completely mysterious, unreachable. Well, I wouldn't call Deerhunter a classic shoegazer act, but their music turned out to be just as noisy, surreal and hypnotizing (only they acted in a completely different way!).
When all the glitches were fixed, they were ready to take off! There were only a few concerts where I almost forgot to take pictures because I was completely drifting away with the music, and this was one of them. Who needs LSD when you can easily lose yourself in a mindtrip of some ambient soundscapes, uncompromising noise and hypnothizing vocals. The complete set was like a dream, an outer body experience. The track White ink brought me even flashbacks to the Holocaust Section of My Bloody Valentine. Suddenly at one point, the curtain of noise fellt; only the voice of Bradford accompanied by some minimalistic guitar sounds were heard for the beautiful song 'Twilight at Carbon Lake'. The entiere audience was silent, you could hear a pin drop... This is how a concert should be.
