La band nasce nel 2008 dall'idea del cantante e frontman dei Kataklysm, l'italo-canadese Maurizio Iacono, e dalla passione per la storia di Roma dovuta alle sue italiche origini.
Nel 2009 viene rilasciato tramite Nuclear Blast Records il primo album, Romulus, dove partecipano come ospiti: Adam "Nergal" Darski, frontman dei polacchi Behemoth, Karl Sanders, frontman degli statunitensi Nile e A.O "Obsidian Claw" Gronbech, fondatore dei norvegesi Keep of Kalessin.
In seguito sono stati reallizzati due video musicali: il primo sulla titletrack Romulus ed il secondo su The Final War (Battle Of Actium).
E' Uscito a fine 2012 il 2° Album Caligvla. Per la realizzazione dell'album è stata richiesta la collaborazione della cantante dei Tristania, l'italiana Mariangela Demurtas.

Serafina Steer is on the harp and keyboards with Emma Smith on violin and guitar, Andrew McKinney on bass guitar and Adam Betts on drums.

Liam Gallagher arriva in Italia con due straordinari concerti: Il 26 febbraio 2018 è al Fabrique di Milano.
William John Paul Gallagher, conosciuto come Liam Gallagher, è un cantautore inglese, già frontman del gruppo musicale degli Oasis, una delle più note band musicali del mondo dagli anni novanta, e dei Beady Eye, formazione nata a seguito dello scioglimento degli Oasis e attiva fino al 2014, e attivo attualmente come solista. Degli Oasis Liam è stato la prima voce e autore di alcuni brani, in collaborazione col fratello maggiore Noel, l'altra figura di rilievo del gruppo originario di Manchester.
Liam Gallagher ha pubblicato lo scorso 6 ottobre via Warner Music il suo album di debutto come artista solista, intitolato “As You Were”. In Italia il disco ha debuttato alla posizione #4 nella classifica musicale degli album più venduti, segnalandosi come la più alta entrata e come l’album di un artista straniero più venduto della settimana. In Gran Bretagna, invece, il disco è entrato direttamente alla posizione #1, superando addirittura in termini di vendite quelle dei primi 15 album in classifica. Il disco si configura, ancora, come il terzo album dell’anno con il maggior numero di copie vendute durante la prima settimana (oltre 100.000 copie). Il vinile, infine, risulta essere il più venduto degli ultimi 20 anni durante i primi sette giorni dall’uscita.
Riguardo al disco, che riprende e rivisita allo stesso tempo certe influenze musicali anni ’60 e ’70, Liam ha dichiarato: “Non ho voluto reinventare nulla o lanciarmi in viaggi ipergalattici. È lo stesso suono di Cold Turkey di Lennon, degli Stones, dei classici. Ma fatti a modo mio, ora”.

But he was barely recognizable today in a grizzly-man beard, sloppy clothes and longer, unkempt hair.
Thankfully, it’s a temporary situation that can be fixed.

"Good Vibes For Terri" - a benefit gig for 'godfather of punk' Terri Hooley. Terri founded the Good Vibrations record label and record store back in the 70s and had his life story told in the film of the same name in 2013.
Before Christmas 2014 Terri was taken ill and has been hospitalised for the forseeable future. Many of Terri's friends put together a benefit concert for him at the Limelight Belfast on Sunday 28 December 2014.
Photos taken with a Canon 600D DSLR. I decided to test out frankensteining the camera, shooting fully manual (for the mos part) with a 30 year old Pentacon 2.8/135 lens I hadn't touched in over a decade.

Mike Loce is part of the Studio 99 gang and a friend that I've known for a few years now. He is also the frontman of "Javaloce" a fantastic jam band that played at my wedding back in September.
Mike was looking for some promo images for various uses. Here are some samples.

Bradford Cox, the frontman of Deerhunter.
It turned out to be quite an amazing evening! First with the solid performance of Women, followed with probably one of the greatest composed livesets I've ever encountered during a concert!
They started off with technical problems, so Bradford showed us his comedian talents (they worked for me). I never would have thought he was so funny and made so much interaction with the public. I've seen that a million times at punk concerts, but not for this kind of concerts/music. A few days earlier I was at the concert of My Bloody Valentine (only footage I took was this lousy movieclip) and they were the epitome of 'shoegazer music'; totally no interaction with the public, a static appearance, completely mysterious, unreachable. Well, I wouldn't call Deerhunter a classic shoegazer act, but their music turned out to be just as noisy, surreal and hypnotizing (only they acted in a completely different way!).
When all the glitches were fixed, they were ready to take off! There were only a few concerts where I almost forgot to take pictures because I was completely drifting away with the music, and this was one of them. Who needs LSD when you can easily lose yourself in a mindtrip of some ambient soundscapes, uncompromising noise and hypnothizing vocals. The complete set was like a dream, an outer body experience. The track White ink brought me even flashbacks to the Holocaust Section of My Bloody Valentine. Suddenly at one point, the curtain of noise fellt; only the voice of Bradford accompanied by some minimalistic guitar sounds were heard for the beautiful song 'Twilight at Carbon Lake'. The entiere audience was silent, you could hear a pin drop... This is how a concert should be.

Back in 1986, when Mick Box was looking for singer who could 'hit' the high notes, he didn't need to look further after meeting Bernie - at the London Marquee Club.
The Canadian-born singer, who originally dreamed of becoming a best rock guitarist- this days is HEEP'S longest-serving lead vocalist.
He sure brought new excitement in the band, stunning vocals... and 'tons' of energy... with great- and natulal abilities to connect with the crowd!
In 2008 trad Joe Sumner, frontman van Fiction Plane, in de voetsporen van zijn vader (Sting) en speelde hij met zijn band op Pinkpop. Destijds had Fiction Plane een grote hit met 'Two Sisters'. Na 3 jaar radio-stilte volgt er begin 2015 een nieuw album waarvan ze op 11 oktober 2014 een voorproefje gaven in poppodium NIEUWE NOR in Heerlen. Support-act was Atlantic Attraction. Picture Shows Noel Fielding, Mighty Boosh frontman, causing a riot at the Big Chill festivalwhere he was performing a standup routine. He invited a few younger members of the audience on to the stage but was mobbed by more than 20 youths. Security was in disaray as Fielding fell to the stage floor and was mobbed by the youths.
