Sigur Rós frontman Jonsi. Most of these photos were taken as the sun set, turning the white-stone courtyard of Somerset House into a glorious, glowing orange, while the band's etheral sound bounced off the walls.

"Factory Star have a similar lashing turbulence in their sound to the Fall, but, like the Blue Orchids before them, put extended emphasis on psychedelia. Bramah’s raw-voiced vocals are also usually less cryptic than those of Mark E. Smith, and involve a lot of narrative. 'Enter Castle Perilous', which was produced by Nick Halliwell, was recorded in a furious three days at a studio in Liverpool in January and is a dark, swirling maelstrom of a record"

Bryan noticed the KISS frontman on the streets in Chinatown. We'd just had dim sum. He was talking on his cell phone and seemed to be filming something. Sort of odd timing, since the night before we'd seen a KISS cover band at The Cutting Room (they were the opener for the Meatloaf cover band.)

Tim Kasher is the frontman of Cursive - this is his solo project - The Good Life - also on Saddle Creek Records. Saddle Creek - one of my all-time favourite labels - born out of Omaha, Nebraska - which is home to bands like Bright Eyes, Cursive, Two Gallants, The Faint, Rilo Kiley (past records) and now to Tokyo Police Club.
Art and Manila also opened for them in addition to Jonathan Rice.

Atoms For Peace, the side project of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, has reportedly set a release date for its debut full-length.
According to Radiohead At Ease (via Pitchfork), the band's first album will be titled "Amok" and be released on Jan. 28, 2013, through XL Recordings. The LP will reportedly have nine tracks, including the previously released single "Default."
A rep for Atoms For Peace could not be reached to confirm the album details at press time. However, XL Recordings has previously announced that an Atoms For Peace album can be expected for a 2013 release.
Atoms For Peace formed in October 2009 as a performance-based collaboration between Yorke, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, producer Nigel Godrich, drummer Joey Waronker and percussionist Mauro Refosco. The group toured briefly in early 2010 and performed at that year's Coachella Music & Arts Festival, before Radiohead released its eighth album, "The King of Limbs," in February 2011.
"Default," the band's debut single, was released in September, along with a vinyl-only track "What The Eyeballs Did."
Radiohead spent most of 2012 on the road, performing across North America and at festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo. "Atoms For Peace" is the title of a song off Yorke's 2006 solo album, "The Eraser."

Picture Shows Noel Fielding, Mighty Boosh frontman, causing a riot at the Big Chill festivalwhere he was performing a standup routine. He invited a few younger members of the audience on to the stage but was mobbed by more than 20 youths. Security was in disaray as Fielding fell to the stage floor and was mobbed by the youths. "Good Vibes For Terri" - a benefit gig for 'godfather of punk' Terri Hooley. Terri founded the Good Vibrations record label and record store back in the 70s and had his life story told in the film of the same name in 2013.
Before Christmas 2014 Terri was taken ill and has been hospitalised for the forseeable future. Many of Terri's friends put together a benefit concert for him at the Limelight Belfast on Sunday 28 December 2014.
Photos taken with a Canon 600D DSLR. I decided to test out frankensteining the camera, shooting fully manual (for the mos part) with a 30 year old Pentacon 2.8/135 lens I hadn't touched in over a decade.

Respecting the subject - Ed Kowalczyk is the frontman of my favourite band, the US based +LIVE+. He has recently started to tour solo doing acoustic gigs. I took my camera along to his Melbourne show, well hidden in the bottom of my bag (I was lacking the almighty 'photo pass' associated with band photography) and with a front row view, set about capturing some photos that would respect Ed's talents.
Challenging conditions included security, low light and changing stage lights and numerous 100's of fellow fans. This is one of the shots that I like the most. Ed performs from the heart and you can see his passion and belief in his music on his face. Often his eyes are closed and it is difficult to get eye contact with him as a result but I feel like I captured some of what he may be feeling in regard to the song he was performing.
I attempted to capture a strong composition in this photo with its obvious triangular lines. Due to low lighting, I thought I'd take advantage of a slower shutter speed and motion blur occurred in his playing hand which I feel adds to the atmosphere I was trying to create in respecting my subject.
