FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl broke his leg after falling off stage during a gig – but carried on singing and playing guitar.
Scribe is the frontman of this part of the event. He has been painting these graffiti characters for a long time out of Kansas City. He now does illustrations and sculpture on top of his amazing skills with spray can art.

Bach, pseudonimo di Sebastian Philip Bierk (Freeport, 3 aprile 1968), è un cantante heavy metal canadese naturalizzato statunitense, noto per essere stato il frontman degli Skid Row. Prima di entrare negli Skid Row nel 1987, militò in diverse altre band come i VO5, Kid Wikkid e Madam X. A partire dai fine anni 90 è impegnato nella carriera solista.

La band nasce nel 2008 dall'idea del cantante e frontman dei Kataklysm, l'italo-canadese Maurizio Iacono, e dalla passione per la storia di Roma dovuta alle sue italiche origini.
Nel 2009 viene rilasciato tramite Nuclear Blast Records il primo album, Romulus, dove partecipano come ospiti: Adam "Nergal" Darski, frontman dei polacchi Behemoth, Karl Sanders, frontman degli statunitensi Nile e A.O "Obsidian Claw" Gronbech, fondatore dei norvegesi Keep of Kalessin.
In seguito sono stati reallizzati due video musicali: il primo sulla titletrack Romulus ed il secondo su The Final War (Battle Of Actium).
E' Uscito a fine 2012 il 2° Album Caligvla. Per la realizzazione dell'album è stata richiesta la collaborazione della cantante dei Tristania, l'italiana Mariangela Demurtas.

Hyde, a J-Pop star (former frontman for L'arc en ciel) toured the US, so despite not being a huge fan I decided to go since seeing a japanese singer in the US is rather rare. The show was great, although security was rather anal about taking pictures. The person on stage to the left was shining the light to identify crafty people like me trying to take snapshots. Alas, this was the best one I could take.

Gli AxeWound sono un gruppo musicale nato come side project di Matt Tuck, frontman dei Bullet for My Valentine. La band è completata da Liam Cormier dei Cancer Bats (voce principale), Mike Kingswood dei Glamour of the Kill (chitarra), Joe Copcutt dei Rise to Remain (basso) ed infine da Jason Bowld dei Pitchshifter (batteria e percussioni). Matt Tuck, tramite il profilo Twitter dei Bullet For My Valentine, aveva già precedentemente annunciato di essere in lavoro ad un altro progetto, ma senza mai entrare nei dettagli. Solo il 1 maggio 2012, durante BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, è stata resa pubblica la notizia.

Sully Erna is definitely a high-energy frontman for Godsmack. He was wall over the stage. He not only sang and played guitar on a few songs, but he also did a complete a drum solo and tandem drum solo with the drummer, Shannon Larkin.
Sully Erna es definitivamente un lÃder de alta energÃa para el grupo Godsmack. Estaba por todas partes del escenario. No sólo cantó las canciones y tocó guitarra en algunas sino que también realizó un solo de baterÃa por su cuenta y luego conjuntamente con Shannon Larkin, el baterista principal del grupo.
Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder stond en zat op woensdag 25 juli in Koninklijk Theater Carré voor een one man optreden. 3FMs fotograaf Ben Houdijk was erbij en maakte deze foto.

Duke D'Mond, the Barron Knights frontman for well over 40 years, was in particularly fine voice at this open air gig. Born Richard Palmer in 1943, he lived all his life in the Leighton Buzzard area and was one of the founding members of the Knights, who hit the big time in the 60s with a #3 record 'Call up the Groups'. Always successfully treading the fine line between comedy and musicianship, they toured world wide and had more success with 'A Taste of Aggro' and 'Live in Trouble'. Sadly Duke passed away in 2009 having been unable to perform since an accident in 2005. A great guy :-)

"Good Vibes For Terri" - a benefit gig for 'godfather of punk' Terri Hooley. Terri founded the Good Vibrations record label and record store back in the 70s and had his life story told in the film of the same name in 2013.
Before Christmas 2014 Terri was taken ill and has been hospitalised for the forseeable future. Many of Terri's friends put together a benefit concert for him at the Limelight Belfast on Sunday 28 December 2014.
Photos taken with a Canon 600D DSLR. I decided to test out frankensteining the camera, shooting fully manual (for the mos part) with a 30 year old Pentacon 2.8/135 lens I hadn't touched in over a decade.

This was a night to test out my new acquaintance, Mr. Nikkor 80-200 af-s.
This was a fantastic test, it was not bright often for the set but this lens locked on.
Plus Ioved the range, I didn't stand in front of the performers as I wanted to isolate each member as much I could.
Unfortunately the Emily Goodman, the drummer for Jaguar Spring was in complete darkness for the whole set.
I tried to get a few shots but no matter what they were always underexposed.
Next time Emily.
Apart from that, the band sounded big.

Ocean Colour Scene frontman launches solo project at Glee Club Birmingham
Birmingham music legend Simon Fowler is set to launch his new solo project with an intimate show at Birmingham's Glee Club on Tuesday 17 April.
Best know as lead vocalist and guitarist with Britpoppers Ocean Colour Scene, Fowler has also provided backing vocals for 'Modfather' Paul Weller and folk artist Kate Rusby.
Glee Club music promoter Markus Sargeant said: "We have very fond memories of when Simon previously played The Glee with Oscar and we were thrilled to be offered the hometown launch show of his new solo project.
"Simon is the latest in a long line of remarkably talented artists to play our intimate Studio room, and this is a rare opportunity for fans to witness a multi-million selling artist at close quarters."
Ocean Colour Scene are one of the most successful bands to have come out of the Britpop explosion of the mid-nineties, famously knocking Oasis’ Be Here Now off the UK Album Chart top spot with 1997 record Marchin' Already. Popular hits include 'The Day We Caught The Train' and TFI Friday intro track 'The Riverboat Song'.
