SiriusXM Radio announced today (December 3) that Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder will host a new, limited-run show on its Pearl Jam Radio channel, one of SiriusXM's original artist-branded channels dedicated to artists. The news comes on the heels of l ast week's announcement of Dave Grohl's "Sound City" SiriusXM show.
"The Eddie Vedder Radio Show" will premiere on Wednesday, December 5 at 5 p.m. ET on Pearl Jam Radio, channel 22.
On it, listeners will hear Vedder play "many of his all-time favorite songs, from early punk rock influences to unreleased material from his personal archives," according to a press release. "The Eddie Vedder Radio Show" will also feature Vedder discussing his musical influences and contemporaries who inspire him as well as him sharing personal stories about his 20-plus-year-long career.
"Eddie has been the voice of a generation and a voice with a conscience and we are happy to have him take up residence here to do his own show," "Eddie's record collection could tell some stories all by itself, let alone with Eddie at the helm," said SiriusXM president/chief content officer Scott Greenstein. "We know our listeners will enjoy hearing this one."
Pearl Jam Radio features archival concerts from the group's career, plus rare material from them and the individual members' side projects and pre-Pearl Jam efforts.
After each broadcast, "The Eddie Vedder Radio Show" will be available on SiriusXM On Demand for subscribers listening via the SiriusXM Internet Radio App, or online at siriusxm.com.
Vedder's radio show begins the day after he wraps a month-long tour of the southern U.S. with a pair of shows in Clearwater, Fla. Vedder is slated to appear next Wednesday at the 12.12.12 Concert for Sandy Relief at New York's Madison Square Garden.

The Final War (Battle Of Actium).
E' Uscito a fine 2012 il 2° Album Caligvla. Per la realizzazione dell'album è stata richiesta la collaborazione della cantante dei Tristania, l'italiana Mariangela Demurtas.

Hyde, a J-Pop star (former frontman for L'arc en ciel) toured the US, so despite not being a huge fan I decided to go since seeing a japanese singer in the US is rather rare. The show was great, although security was rather anal about taking pictures. The person on stage to the left was shining the light to identify crafty people like me trying to take snapshots. Alas, this was the best one I could take.
