Intention: The goal in this image was to use sunlight to front-light her face. The sun was already going down, though, so it wasn't as bright. I used white paper as my reflector.

Reference: In Lesson 26, DuChemin states that understanding the effect of light's directionality is key.

Outcome: The image captures a close up shot of my friends face in the sunset.

Edits: The image was colored balanced for warmth. I also increased the contrast and lowered the highlights.

Composition: I am looking directly at my husband, and the light is behind me.

Content and Audience: I wanted to experiment with the light behind me and see if I could get the background to fade so you can just focus on him.
