FrontLight photos on Flickr

So normally at the cryer, there's either no light, or it's just shit and all backlights. This time however, the lights were awesome! There was even some frontlighting for once! Shooting on ISO 400 1/80 most the night!

Really happy with how the majority of the shots came out .

My intention for this photo was to use front light to capture the snowflake. To capture this photo I started by taking it at night with no other lights to effect it I then used a single light source in front of the snowflake. I took many photos with both warm and cool light but ended up going with the cool light I think it really helped capture the snowflake the way I wanted it. For edits of the photo I started off by using a levels adjustment layer next I decreased the contrast and the increased the contrast. I then lowered the white and black point and added a touch of haze.
