Post ride admiring. Yes, I'm prejudice about its look. I felt like a popsicle by this time. // I thought of using North Road bars on this bike, inverted, but the top tub is quite short. When I come to a stop there's barely room to stand between seat and bar.
I was sad to hear they were tearing down the old brick children's hospital that has been out of use for years. But instead of tearing it down I was told that they are converting it into some custom condos. but before that happened I had to sneak in and capture some history
A front was moving into Dallas so my roommate and i decided to go photograph/video it. it was crazy. the wind changed directions as the front got closer and then we got caught in a hail storm on our way home.

I made this curtain in 1967. He is a copy of a stained glass window I saw that year at the Parador de Jaén - Castillo de Santa Catalina, Andalusia, Spain.
I confess that two weeks ago I almost consigned him to the bin; but the look of horror on my friend's face when I told her, made me re-consider.
So I gave him one last chance and put him in the washing machine! The old curtain promptly disintegrated, as I had suspected it would, but miraculously, the knight came up a treat and still in one piece.
He's now happily sewn to a new curtain and back on guard in front of the door as if nothing had happened!
The front door of my girlfriend's flat is this really nice shade of red and I've resisted photographing it for months. When I came round and saw this stuff dumped outside I thought it completed the photo, adding a bit of depth.
The really warm morning light worked well to lift the top of the frame.
This is a big holed bead, made on a 22mm mandrel. This would make a great scarf ring, it also looks beautiful hanging from a nice chain as a necklace.

Sailor Bar, American River Parkway / Sacramento County, California
I first saw my lifer Black-fronted Forktail on 4/29/2015 in El Dorado Hills in El Dorado County, just outside Sacramento County. I wondered when or if I would ever see this species in Sacramento County and when I was visiting Sailor Bar on 5/18/2016 looking for odes, I couldn't believe it when I saw around 25-30 of them, maybe more, right where I've been doing ode photography for the past 3 years, in the southeast corner of the pond off Illinois Avenue at Sailor Bar, American River Parkway in Sacramento County, CA.
Front view. Shoes are a coral color, look red in photo. I had hoped that they would blend with the dress. May have to rethink that.
Overlooking Sunrise Park directly across the street with nothing obstructing the amazing 180 degree view.
