Ein unscheinbarer Nebeneingang eines Hamburger Kontorhauses zeigte mir heute diese kleine Perle. Recht hübsch wie ich finde! Von unten in die Höhe fotografiert. Mehr dazu im neuen Jahr, denn oben war ich natürlich auch.

An inconspicuous side entrance of a Hamburg office building showed me this little pearl today. Quite pretty I think! Photographed high up from below. More on that in the New Year, because of course I was up there too.

Another use for my Meyer lemons..a photography prop. They only harvest once a year and I got quite a few...squeezed tons and froze the juice into ice cube trays, to use later in salad dressings and baking . I love their sweetness and they are less sour than plain lemons. Organic, too!

Freshly outshopped D9000 (55022) has just crossed Petteril Bridge Jn on the start of it’s journey over the Tyne Valley line. It is working the 1Z55 Wolverhampton-Newcastle via WCML. Unfortunately the return trip via the ECML wasn’t so lucky as stood with the gallery at Plawsworth near Durham, we all got done by cloud, but only by a matter of minutes.

This lake seems to freeze easily and quickly. Too early to walk on it though.
