Every time we use a cabin or a mat, we take a fresh sheet and spread it for ourselves. The exercise may only be for 10 minutes, but we can take a fresh sheet for it. These are the same sheets I also had on my hospital bed; I loved the green pattern at the top and bottom.
A fresh basil plant in our front yard, I use this a lot now for cooking. I had no idea it was as easy as planting, fertilizing it, and enjoying the fruits of nature.

Siu picked these pears from a tree in her yard and brought them to me today. In years past I have made pear butter with Christmas pears ... but this time I am going to make pear preserves /jam out of these summer pears.
At Pike Place Market in Seattle, you can see many interesting things. I spotted these two neon signs, that together advertise something you never want to be without: Fresh Restrooms!
Fresh 'n' Friends was our saviour for the first few days: open 24/7 (even over Christmas) at the corner of Friedrichstraße and Oranienburger Straße and free coffee throughout December. ;-)
40th annual May Breakfast, May 5, 2013
The event featured Jonnycakes, homemade breads and more as we welcomed the arrival of spring. Volunteers in Colonial dress treated guests at our historic 18th century home to a homemade breakfast of various berry breads, chilled fruit cup, Jonnycakes, omelet, bacon & Grandma’s old fashioned baked beans, coffee & orange juice. After the breakfast, guests were treated to tour the rooms and exhibits of the House Museum and the surrounding grounds on a beautiful May day.
