The first days of spring seeing flowers and fresh grass appearing in the fields in a lockdown walk near Radstock
Because of the recent Vegan Freaks health podcast and because Dino Sarma has inspired me to eat more whole foods, my boyfriend and I went veggie browsing at the St. Lawrence Market in downtown Torono. We hit a luscious greenmine! Pictured here are two huge bunches of basil (to the left of the picture), fresh mint & parsley, leeks, maroon carrots, pea shoots, portobellos, jicama, parisian potatoes, hydroponic watercress, yellow and orange tomatoes and baby arugula. We also managed to snag some golden beets, pickled capers, Israeli couscous, fresh tamarind paste, arborio rice and blood oranges. Although my boyfriend could not get too excited about any of it (yes, he is vegan), I was in raptures over the basil and mint. The scents are incredible, and I don't even like mint!
Go vegan!

I like the sculptural quality of this coconut on a tree. Woke up early one morning at Tryall and took this photo

I love photography, and I love Winter, but photography in the Winter? Well, that doesn't turn any of my cranks.... UNLESS it's from the comfort of a window, like this shot. I know, window-shots are awful for discolouration and warping (Like on the right side here), but the snow drift wasn't about to let me get the door open.
