Fresh snow covers the branches of our lighted spruce trees.

It was a magical day in the Cairngorms near the end of my Scotland trip in 2015 as we were treated to lots of fresh snow. The snow would come in waves giving us the opportunity to step out and make images.

A bounty of homegrown fresh apricots

Sid and I wandered down his ground to pick the Blackcurrants so I can make him some jam. On the way through the bird pen Sid counts his ducks and geese and says one of the Muscoveys is missing, so we go on a hunt for her. We find her sitting on the nest so we leave her to it. Half an hour later her work has been done..Just beautiful eggs..Our omelettes are so yellow.

I love Sid's hands..they have done so much work.

These were in Port Royal Sound this morning. Mrs 9 Sr. had water boiling when we walked in the door.

If you've never had local, fresh shrimp and only eaten frozen, imported, farm raised...you need to taste something like this..night and day difference.
