I hadn't made fresh pasta in so long, so this was long overdue.
Not sure what these are...does anyone know what they are and how they are used? I know they are eaten, but are they eaten raw, cooked, used in specific recipes, etc?

I'm so loving having fresh food available again!
I gave up gardening after trying it for a summer or two. We have such a bounty of wonderful small organic farms around here, and I've found I much prefer shopping at the farmer's markets and farm stands to weeding my own vegetables.

Several days ago I have spent a freezing 30 min or so outside taking picture of snowflakes. It's not as easy as one might think, considering the fact that it is, usually, cold and dark and, sometimes, windy. However, all that discomfort seems to be forgotten as soon as you see the results on the screen. Those little snowflakes are so very pretty.. :D

Every day for at least a week now I have been telling myself I need to get out and cut the rose bushes down for the winter, and every day I find an excuse not to do so. There are several buds I probably could have enjoyed indoors, but it's too late now!
