Charm quilt made from Heather Bailey's freshcut line. I purchased a bunch of fat quarters then cut them up into squares (i can't remember what size, and the quilt is now at my mom's house). The green and white border fabric was purchased at Jo-Anns (Quilter's Cotton that I purchased with a half off coupon). This photo is of the quilt on a rock in my mom's yard in Maine.

-"The Last Picture Show"- the last film shown at the David Lean Cinema, before it closed down last year, due to government cuts. Taken from the projection booth, with kind permission from the projectionists, all of whom have now lost their jobs..
-Wanted to contrast the stereotypical Hollywood depiction of Romantic Love- a photogenic young couple, the girl typically a blonde- with the reality in evidence in the audience- which was often full of elderly couples, growing old together...
A delicious blend of triangles from my Fat Quarter Shop bundle and a few extra fabrics including some hoarded AMH fabrics. Made and completed for my husband for Father's Day 2013.

I started these bags a long time ago, but never got around to finish them. Today I was in the mood to work on some of my many UFO's. I have another 8 to complete, hopefully tomorrow they will be done and then I can start something else!

A beautiful beach with mother and daughter and their dog. A fun moment captured for all time. Running hand in hand with their cute dog on the sand. The gorgeous sea lapping the shore behind them.

I made this quilt in the last weeks and got it finished yesterday. It is 100% inspired by this amazing quilt: www.flickr.com/photos/39332868@N06/5751407919/ All fabric used are from Jay McCarrolls Habitat and Moda Crossweave in natural. I used Quilters Dream Puff as a batting, I love that it is light and puffy. The first quilt for on our sofa!!

I am just a wee bit obsessed with Anna Maria Horner's new line "drawing room". It is home dec weight, which I love to use, especially for jumpers and rompers.
