Arches and sea stacks at Tongaporutu, New Zealand.

On my third visit to Tongaporutu I was determined to reach the end of the beach where I found this double arch and more beautiful sea stacks.

A scene from a part of a bubble, but it is also cool to see the curve of the bubble as well. See the Macro Bubble set here flic.kr/s/aHsmNyHgCy

Film Noir moments lead me onto a fun and imaginative walk home as the entire "film" plays out and all of the interesting characters fall into place. Here we have the "femme fatale" on her way to meet the protagonist.

Frankenstein Castle (1252)

There is much historical evidence to suggest that Mary Shelley's world-famous novel "Frankenstein or Modern Prometheus" actually originated at Frankenstein Castle.

Loved the framing of this image. I feel like it really captures her daily work life!

Black Skimmer attacking Forster's Tern chick.

The chick taking on the skimmer is slightly larger than it's sibling, a bit like big brother trying to protect it's sister from the bully when mom and dad are not around.

A different composure to normal. I really liked this walkway acting as a leading line into the image, the cut down tree stumps on the right looked nice just sat in the water, and I decided to frame the shot with the trees surrounding me.

Petticoat Lane Marker.

…I've taken thousands of deer pictures and I'm always looking to find a different take on them. This is one but, a very grainy, low light through our window and being cropped out 80%. So...I used a glow & splattered brush stroke effect. It's funny how this mama deer thinks she's hidden from me, framed in the trees & limbs; while starring right at me from 40 yards away.
