Autumn in Colorado's San Juan Mountains, with Mount Sneffels framed by golden aspens which in turn are framed by a ring of red leafed shrubs.

Nine days till Christmas! TGIF!
An extremely long exposure gives Shuswap Lake a unique look. It appears to be a solid sheet of ice when in fact it is simply calm. An added and unexpected bonus is the overall white it has taken on from the sky overhead.
My goal was to capture the cloud that is playing near the top of the distant mountain. Catching clouds above it, further aids in the overall balance of the image. And, allowing the land to form a silhouette, frames the cloud and the photo is complete.
Everyday life in India in Varanasi, children are picked up by boat to school, the laundry is washed, the dogs look for a shade
