most people on the street are just figures. but this man carries his own frame. a heavy, metal rectangle that separates him from the world. he is both the worker and the artwork. his gaze is direct, a quiet statement from within the structure he holds. it is a portrait of labor, a story about the unseen effort that goes into creating the frames in which we see the world.

the largest picture frame in the world

At the Dubai Frame, visitors can see the entire city from a height of 150 meters. The Old City of Deira, the shores of the Arabian Gulf, the majestic dunes of the Arabian Desert and the skyscrapers of Dubai Marina.

The unique feature of the Dubai Frame is the glass bridge. The transparent glass floor 150 meters high triggers an intoxicating vertigo when entering.

In the lower part of the Dubai Frame, there is a gallery where visitors can experience the origins of the city with projections, audio and video presentations and even specially selected scents.

Finally, it goes through a time travel tunnel in the future of Dubai

It was a great experience for me

A few weeks back I have been playing around with the Fate Hand Poser that a friend gifted me

I wonder how many stormy, summer evenings this abandoned gem has seen?

Nine days till Christmas! TGIF!

Each man should frame life so that at some future hour fact and his dreaming meet.

The Christmas light-show on my house is now over, but it was pretty! The theme for week 1 is Framed for the Future. I'm always a fan of high-tech - and these laser / LED projectors are definitely the future!

An extremely long exposure gives Shuswap Lake a unique look. It appears to be a solid sheet of ice when in fact it is simply calm. An added and unexpected bonus is the overall white it has taken on from the sky overhead.

My goal was to capture the cloud that is playing near the top of the distant mountain. Catching clouds above it, further aids in the overall balance of the image. And, allowing the land to form a silhouette, frames the cloud and the photo is complete.

Views over Budapest framed from an archway at the top of Gellért Hill. Gellért Hill is a 235 metre high hill overlooking the Danube in Budapest, Hungary. It is located in the 1st and the 11th districts. The hill was named after Saint Gerard who was thrown to death from the hill.
