Thanks for taking time to comment, fave and look at my work. I really appreciate.

Dear friends,

Life is fragile but also very nice and warm.

My mom is out of the hospital! She has a pace maker, because without it she should be with my father in heaven. The rhythm is only from the pace maker now, but she is stable. I hope for a good quality of life left for her! She is home right now!!!

Another photo of the acquarium in the clinic's waiting room...these are not threads or a plant but wisps of air filtering up from a hose into the water and creating this effect.

This is looking into one of my glasses...The set was an instant fave and spontaneous purchase! lol. I love them!

The fog and light painting on the landscape is quite exhilarating and always fresh. It brings a different perspective every time and rarely is duplicated. Watching the scene develop and change almost seems planned and orchestrated at times. I try to put myself in that audience as much as possible.

Every year I look forward to the emergence of new dragonflies from my pond. Often, I'm too late to see them and only their old casings, still clinging to a reed, are evidence that they were there at all. From time to time I get lucky, though, and I'm able to witness the magical transformation from soft, vulnerable little being into an adult that can fly away. This one had just flown from a reed into a small Buddleia bush next to the pond, where it stayed for a little while as it continued to dry out. I see this every year, but it's always a privilege.

Today was pretty insane, we went back to school for the first time since the hurricane. Public transportation is craaazay. The whole day was crazy, just everything was crazy, and I am exhausted, haha

A swallowtail (Papilio machaon) in bad shape and with pale colour in this early spring. Probably the cold front of the last week has left its signatures on a such fragile creature

We've had several wet days, with spells of torrential rain and high winds, but today the sun finally shone and I was able to venture out and visit Borde Hill again. I was half expecting to find everything flattened, but it was wonderful to see flowers holding their heads high as well as butterflies and bees taking full advantage of the much needed sunshine. Flowers like this delicate Japanese anemone look so fragile, but they're resilient and strong.

Hello amazing Flickr people !!

Today at Color my World Daily Group is a purple day. And the theme at the fabulous Smile on Saturday Group is egg. And who loves eggs??? Me, me, me !! I love especially chocolate eggs (I would love to see a chocolate egg filled with alcohol, perhaps sherry… or some coffee liquor… does it exist already???) but for my pictures I prefer white chicken eggs. And during our staying inside time, I’m using a lot of eggs: my oldest son and I, we are cooking every day and usually there are one or two eggs involved…

I’m always amazed to see how fragile but at the same time how strong eggshells are! They can do anything until they break and fall apart in pieces (a little bit like me right now during this “social distancing / stay inside / everything will be all right” time….).

Every time one of my sons is holding a raw egg, I’m so afraid he will drop it on the floor (or even worst on his brother head lol and eggs are very good for hair !)!! But when you have to break an egg it is more difficult than expected…and some times you end up with a mess on your hands.

I was thinking a lot about eggs lately… How symbolic and strong they are. You can never know how far an egg will go… It could become a chicken or end up feeding a hungry family (that is more likely…) or just accidently fall on the floor or your sibling’s head. After few sips of my gin & tonic, I was convinced that eggs can accomplish anything they have on their minds…

Riding a bike, for instance… Is it possible for an egg? If you are an egg, should you ride a bike very fast and do some acrobatic jumps on it? Should an egg wear a helmet ?? Well too bad, I didn’t had time to make one (I’m sure there is a tutorial on YouTube for that…) so no helmet for my egg… But it has to wear some kind of sing to tell other cyclist to be careful… Why not a big “fragile” written all across the egg. That is perfect, let’s go for a bike ride with our fragile but strong egg…

In a way, eggs are like us: so strong but so fragile. It takes a small sneeze or a microscopical virus to break the hardest and the toughest of us …and we can clearly see this right now…So be careful my friends, take care of yourself and your loved ones, we are more fragile than we think!! Stay safe and healthy my friends!

I think I had way too much gin in my tonic…and this is basically my thinking process behind that picture.

I hope that my acrobatic egg and my nonsense story made you smile!

Happy Smile on Saturday and CMWD to all participants !! I wish you a beautiful

and amazing day!!! We will have a FaceTime party with friends at 17h tonight!!!! So cheers !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts / positive vibes!!
