This first edition of the poems of Nathan Lanesford Foster was printed and bound in 1841 in the print shop in Philadelphia where my great-great-great grandfather worked at the time.
For those of you who know Philly: the print shop was located in what is now the 'Old City' section of Philadelphia, near the Betsy Ross House and Independence Hall.
More modern editions of this volume are available at select booksellers:

Man and Boy is a statue situated at King's Quay on the harbour of Brixham, Devon, England. It is the result of a long fundraising effort; the residents of the town raised £76,000 for its construction. The monument was created in clay by the local sculptor Elisabeth Hadley and cast in bronze in Shropshire. (Wikipedia)
The statue was used for tributes and a memorial service to two local fishermen, Adam Harper, 26, and 38-year-old Robert Morley who lost their lives while out fishing on the night of Saturday 21 November 2020.
I used a mini tripod balanced on a wall for this one. Out-of-camera jpeg, cropped.

‘White Ladies Priory’……”Ruins of the late 12th century church of a small nunnery of 'white ladies' or Augustinian canonesses. The priory enjoyed a moment of high drama in 1651 when it briefly became the hiding place of Charles II after his defeat at the Battle of Worcester. Disguised as a woodsman with his face covered in soot, he soon moved to nearby Boscobel House.” (English Heritage) It was raining and there were about 4 family groups running about so finding a shot was a tad difficult but was pleased to get this one - do not adjust your vertical hold!! Maud Foster Windmill is a seven-storey, five sail windmill located by the Maud Foster Drain in Skirbeck, Boston, Lincolnshire, from which it is named. It’s one of the largest operating windmills in England being 80 feet (24.38 m) tall to the cap ball.
The tower mill and adjoining granary is a Grade I listed building. The mill was built in 1819 for Isaac and Thomas Reckitt of Wainfleet. It was repaired and restored in 1988.
BPRR SIRI passes one of the petroleum plants at Foster Brook, just north of Bradford. This section of northwestern Pennsylvania is the birthplace of America's oil industry, and several petrochemical plants still exist in the area.
The Caribbean flamingos (Phoenicopterus ruber) in the Front Street Habitat of the San Diego Zoo are now the foster parents of greater flamingos chicks (Phoenicopterus roseus) that were laid by their close cousins at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
Since the Zoo's Caribbean flamingos are no longer recommended for breeding by the SSP, it was decided that these experienced birds could serve as foster parents. The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is home to the largest greater flamingo flock in managed care in the world.
Conservation status: Least Concern

Foster Falls is beautiful and impressive. I thoroughly enjoyed shooting it, however, the stream and cascades that flow out of the falls are amazing.
This is one of Nicole's (Escaping Reality) favorite places. Now I understand why.
