Today was one of those Forrest Gump days where I woke up wishing I could just run. And keep running.
I pray and I dream and I try to figure out exactly what's going to happen but it's completely futile. There's no way of knowing and there's no such thing as planning.
The Mount Union coach called me once again tonight and I got to tell him all about my 25. I keep thinking I want to go to either Kalamazoo or St. Mary's...but I like being wanted. This coach wants me. I got an $11, 000 scholarship already and I have the chance to go down to the school to compete in an essay/interview contest that would get me a full ride. The past few weeks I've been contemplating going, but honestly I'm scared that I will get it. I don't want to feel obligated to go to any school. If I get full tuition I will.
Also, on another note, I researched last year's state finals times. We are in the hunt for All-State. I am so freaking excited. The State meet has never meant this much to me.
PS.... I lost 10 pounds and these are my freshman jeans. Yesssss.
In a cleanup I found a box full of old shots from my teens (30 years ago!). Scanned and photoshoped.
Today I was at the Rain Forrest exhibition at Universum, Gothenburg. Really nice. It felt almost like for real besides all the people. High hall with a "mother tree" with stairs to get acces to all levels. There were birds, monkeys and fish, and of course many interesting plants and trees.
When Forrest is ready to immediately run back into the warm house after a quick bathroom break ... while Jenny is thinking, "Hey, I still want to stay out here a bit longer." (Current wind chill 17°.)
