The Bamboozle Roadshow

June 11, 2010

We broke out the science text books fromt he 50s and then suddenly, everything looked so much better. It looks like the whales devoured the head in the center--then again, it also looks like a flower. Maybe it could be the logo for Greenpeace.

I lived in Nebraska for the first 18 years of my life, and didn't know that there was any sort of forrest with hills that almost resembled mountains. I always thought Nebraska was flat and tree-less. So as we looked at the map and I saw that there was a forrest that we were going to drive through I had great thoughts of excitement. As we got closer, the horizon showed that the forrest was on fire. Eventually a state patrol officer had the rode blocked off and I didn't ever get to see this state forrest. The turn around and detour added about 100 miles to our trip.

Forrest, our Custodian and Building Engineer extraordinaire here at the PRC, is also the Zulu Witch Doctor's Right Hand Man. He and the Witch Doctor met with Mayor Mitch Landrieu on Fat Tuesday. The Witch Doctor's float won the huge honor of 1st place in the Best Character category that day. We are honored to have Forrest as part of our team!

Thanks to Kat for the photograph!
