My forrest really isn't dense enough, but it will grow during the years.
Can you spot the guy with the boombox?
Taken in the Angelina National Forrest off of HWY 63 West in 16:9 Aspect Ratio using the Sony 18-70mm Lens after about 3 inches of rain today. You can see the foliage starting to change.
It was raining while i was taking this photo. I have driven by this several times and wanted to take photos, today was the day. You can see Forrest Ferns and other foliage starting to change colors due to the Autumn Season approaching. It was very cool and wet with a temp of 56 DegF which is very cool for this early in the season in SE Texas.

Forrest and I decided it would be a good idea to take pictures of each other taking pictures of each other. Forrest didn't want to disconnect the tripod from his camera before taking the picture, so he just held onto it as he took this picture. Sadly, it is thought that the picture he took of me has been lost.

I lived in Nebraska for the first 18 years of my life, and didn't know that there was any sort of forrest with hills that almost resembled mountains. I always thought Nebraska was flat and tree-less. So as we looked at the map and I saw that there was a forrest that we were going to drive through I had great thoughts of excitement. As we got closer, the horizon showed that the forrest was on fire. Eventually a state patrol officer had the rode blocked off and I didn't ever get to see this state forrest. The turn around and detour added about 100 miles to our trip.
The world will never be the same once you've seen it through the eyes of Forrest Gump.
