Grazie a tutti!

In 1892, on a picturesque climbing cliff - a red rock - at an altitude of 400 m above sea level, the foros church was laid. A church was built on the means of owner of the estate of the form, "Tea King" A.G. Kuznetsov in memory of "wonderful" events on October 17, 1888 at the Kursko-Kharkov Bil Station railwayWhen, during the crash, the royal family remained unharmed.

The place for the construction was chosen the most picturesque: the church was built on the red color of a sheer cliff, ripped away from the main array, surrounded by the greens of the forests. She seems to soar between heaven and earth.

The project developed an architect N.M. Chagin. The church was built in the Byzantine temple style, which is distinguished by a special technique of masonry from wide flat brick-dlinges and using numerous domes by type of Russian wooden temples. With her silhouette church reminds Moscow Churches of the late XVIII century.

The Church of Christ's Resurrection is a popular tourist attraction on the outskirts ofYalta in the Crimea, known primarily for its scenic location, overlooking the Black Sealittoral from a 400-metre cliff near Baidarsky Pass.

The church overlooking the village of Foroswas commissioned by a local landowner to commemorate Alexander III's survival in theBorki train disaster (1888).[1] The landowner's name was Alexander Kuznetsov; he was a tea trader from Moscow. Nikolai Chagin, a celebrated architect from Wilno, designed the church in a bizarre blend of RastrelliesqueBaroque, Russian Revival, and Byzantine Revival.

Cloudy evening over ancient Forum romanum

A rectangular forum (plaza) surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city of Rome.

The Forum was the center of day-to-day life in Rome: the site of triumphal processions and elections; the venue for public speeches, criminal trials, and gladiatorial matches; and the nucleus of commercial affairs.

Located in the small valley between the Palatine and Capitoline Hills, the Forum today is a sprawling ruin of architectural fragments and intermittent archaeological excavations.*
