Bacon drapery formation in indisclosed east TN cave, one of the prettiest caves I have been in. I always loved the way this shot came out with shadow behind the caver. Not bad for quick point and shoot on an ancient digital camera......

A early formation photo,props stopped.I dont get this these days.

The holes in the rock formed by a combination of rain and chemicals over centuries. The dimpled mess is called a "Tafoni Formation". I found this type of formation in the El Corte de Madera Open Space Preserve in the San Francisco Bay Area earlier.
