Sometimes I take photos close to the ground for the effect... other times, like this one, it's because I forgot my tripod! I used my sweatshirt instead to set my camera on.
Almost a 5 hour (at least 6 miles) round trip hiking in Yellowstone. This is not a super popular trail especially if you are regular tourists. We hiked from lower fall all the way to 4R1 and then hiked back to artist point right around sunset and then back to lower fall. It was exhausting but when you see such beautiful and quiet view, you forgot about your tiredness and everything is worthy for it. And I was glad I brought my big camera with me:) It's heavy but it's good! A lot of times, I was focusing on finding a good place to take a good photo but I forgot to enjoy the trip. This hike helped me focusing on experiencing the journey and then take the photo!
Usually these kind of photos make it straight into my bucket - but somehow I like this one. Maybe someone else likes it too.

Forgot the ND filter, so had to improvise on this one. Took loads of the lighthouse that's directly behind me here (I've got a picture of it I took a couple of years ago here), and this one that I turned around and looked back on is easily my favourite!

She was found with a broken jaw and is now living in the wildlife enclosure Wildfreigehege Wildenburg, Kempfeld, Hunsrück, as she isn't able to catch her food in the wild anymore.
I totally forgot that I shoot this flower last saturday.
Its so much better than my spiderkeh shot. haha

I forgot that I processed the heck out of this shot a while ago just for fun and never actually posted it. If you're ever in the South of France (near Avignon or Nîmes) then a visit to the amazing Roman aqueduct - Pont Du Gard - is an absolute must. I'd highly recommend going at golden hour when the light highlights the arches in all their historic glory.
I forgot to take out the memory card of my old camera after my Ocracoke trip. This is just one of the many photos I took while strolling along the beach in the morning.

Forgot its name but this one did not care about my shooting its portrait. Wish it could've smiled, or even winked, but I'll accept what I got instead.
I forgot to upload this before I went away - edited in Photoshop and Corel. The location pin is off the umbrella display for ADHD awareness (lbndaily.co.uk/multi-coloured-umbrella-display-returns-li...) - the advertising hoarding was found somewhere around the corner :)
It has poured in Brisbane this afternoon and around 3.30pm we had an influx of drowned rats, absolutely soaked Galahs looking for hot soup or hot seeds anyway. A few came in perfectly dry (where were they hiding out?) but most like this one were pretty squishy! The water really accentuates the pink feathers. We are always honoured to have them visit us.
