Forgive my return to Grand Canyon photos . . . I'm sure it will happen again from time to time.
I was just backing up photos to an external drive and had to stop and play with some of them . . . and I chose to share this one. Basically, it is a slightly tweaked HDR shot - actually I had to desaturate the colors because they were so vivid and unreal. I just had to find the best crop, and this is what I came up with. One reason I love this shot is the inclusion of four planes of interest . . . the tree and snow on the rim . . . the rock and trees and snow on the canyon walls . . . the almost monotone inner canyon . . . and the steely cold sky . . . all in all, not a bad shot for a "bad weather" day at the canyon . . .

Henry is one of our neighbours' many cats. He follows Phill when he is out in the garden or when I am hanging out the washing. He started to wander in the house if we left the door open so we try to keep it shut. Henry then discovered our cat flaps. First the one that goes into the lean too where we keep the washing machine and a couple of days later, the one into the house. We decided to lock it to keep him out which resulted in him crashing through it at 11.30 at night. So we bought a new cat flap and as Phill was installing it, guess who wandered in - lol
this is my first levitation photo.
i am pretty pleased with the outcome.

In the midst of logging in to try and take a photo today... I realized I just wasnt interested right now. I did have something to say though. I had a moment a few days ago, where my past flickered across my eyes. My SL past that is. I smiled. Not because it made me happy to think about, but because it made me the person I am today. My constant broken heart, all the lies, all the drama, the confidence killers, all of it. I grew and am in the middle of starting my own business in the real world, with a beautiful man by my side. So thank you, and I forgive you.
