Derwent Mouth Lock (No 1) in the recent snowy conditions, the couple walking the towpath, were like me, taking advantage of the conditions to grab some photo's.
Foot Note:
I've been astonished at the favorable response to this photograph, It's one of a number of images that were produced on that snowy morning walk, that were pleasing to my eye, and I'm not sure what it is that stirs people so much with this one, but guess that it might have something to do with the in frequency of these weather events these days.
The problem (and its a good problem to have!) is how to thank everyone adequately for their positive reactions.
So please forgive me if it seems that I'm not appearing to be grateful for such a beneficial reaction. As an image maker for many years, one of the primary purpose of all this endeavour, and then sharing the results, is to lift the spirits of others, in a world full of things that do the opposite. So it's a real blessing to me to know that I'm having some success in this. I'm enormously grateful for all your fave's comments and support, many thanks again. Kind regards, Andrew

When exiting the water the surfer clocked me (Steven ) lol and looked straight into my lens and waved and smiled which made my day....a bit of friendliness goes a very long way....
I didn't have a long lens with me so used the longest I had at the time which happened to be a Sigma 105mm Macro Lens but it did the job...

for I have sinned. I selectively ignored the request from the priest while attending my niece's confirmation yesterday. I could feel the heat rising from hell as I photographed this special day from the occasional glances of Father. While considering it to be a small sin, I decided to take the chance, realizing that I might be stuck in purgatory for a bit. But just knowing that my niece will have a beautiful framed 5x7 hung on her wall from that moment in her life, made it worth the risk.
As I sat in the back row, in the corner which I always do when photographing events such as this, I'm always looking for things of interest and moving about in stealth mode for the shot, and quietly sitting back down. With this image, I was fortunate enough to be seated by gentlemen from the Color Guard of the Knights of Columbus. While in wait and sabers placed on their laps, I found another sinful delight to please my wicked ways. I'm going to hell for sure!

Forgive me for not having visited many of you lately, I have been very busy, there are things that cannot be overlooked, just like visiting you, if all goes well, I promise you that I will continue my routine, but there are things that are priorities, I love you all.
Forgive me if I put photos that maybe you think they look alike, but, honestly, they are not the same, the city of Miami is changing, I do not say this for its residents, if not rather it is that every time you go out to the street you find one crane with new construction. Since I started making these panoramas, I was motivated by that, I want to one day move this in sequences and for years, although in the last four years the architectural growth has been much faster, if you look at some of my photos you will see the number of buildings that have been done so far, so this is to never end, apart from the architectural, the skies of Miami, the daylight and the afternoon, are worth always worth taking a photograph, of which I have hundreds of them honestly.
