When I was in London in April 09 I met this awesome guy Johnny. He worked at a "bath and body" store which was all organicly made, and it was amazing to see their products. He took me through the store and gave me a tour of their products and how to use them. Really, not my thing, but I really enjoyed hangin out with him and getting to know him as a person. His tattoo says "Mama, Forgive Me" in Russian. When I asked to take his portrait he was willing to do it and I asked him about his tattoo as well. I think we can all agree that we have done something in our own lives that we regret, and Johnny has too and is not afraid to admit it through art. Also, we could also connect really well with our plugs/earrings. I'm so thankful for photography; it's such a special art to connect with people and show love to them and I'm glad I could do it with Johnny.
Just couldn't resist adding one Explore poster that includes my recently dropped photos. It gives a false picture of which of my images are actually in Explore right at this very moment - but my more recent Explore photos look so much more bright and cheery :) I must admit it does feel like cheating, though :(

Truth is, most mean people, and most bullies actually hate themselves. They know and remember their faults and their past mistakes and they can't get past them. So, they go out into the world, and they try to unload their own past on innocent victims, by bullying them. They, the bullies, believe that it is the world that needs to change, however, truth is, only the bully needs to change. They must forgive themselves or they will never ever be able to say sorry, to anyone at all.

The High Line was built in the 1930s, as part of a massive public-private infrastructure project called the West Side Improvement. It lifted freight traffic 30 feet in the air, removing dangerous trains from the streets of Manhattan's largest industrial district. No trains have run on the High Line since 1980. High Line was open as a public park in 2009.

Forgive me, I have wedding brain. Few other things take up space in my thoughts right now, which is probably normal for somebody this ridiculously close to the biggest day of her life. I had a brief moment today that my happpy little bubble was popped, when somebody decided to back into my car and leave me with a great big dent... but I got over that quickly. Dents can be fixed, love is forever. Yeah, just typing that made me want to throw up... I'm too sappy for my own good.
This is my wedding band.... tiny, inexpensive, and simple... quite the opposite of Ryan's ring, but exactly what I wanted. I'm just happy that we agreed to get rings at all. He was certainly not an easy one to convince! We are almost ready for this wedding, but I need to find something borrowed. I've got my whole wardrobe and no idea what else I could need. Suggestions?
Vickie and I bought a new Toyota Venza on May 15. It isn't the first non-GM vehicle I've every purchased, but is it the first one for my own use. My maternal grandfather started two Chevy dealerships back in the 1920s, so I grew up in a strong GM family. I hope Grandpa isn't spinning in his grave.

“You will know that forgiveness has begun when you recall those who hurt you and feel the power to wish them well.”
“History will not forgive those who do not stop Iran’s nuclear program.” That’s the view of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who made the statement to a visiting delegation of American senators over the weekend.
Chiding others – including President Obama – who have criticized Israel over its settlement program, Netanyahu told the visiting senators, “Building in Jerusalem is not the world’s problem; a nuclear Iran is the world’s problem.”
The visiting delegation discussed the changing Middle East and the need to increase sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program. The prime minister also addressed the increasing contacts between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas.
Netanyahu thanked the three Democratic and two Republican senators for their steadfast support in the Senate for Israel. The senate delegation included Republicans John McCain and Kelly Ayotte and Democrats Richard Blumenthal, Sheldon Whitehouse and Chris Coons. They were accompanied by Christian Brose, a senior adviser on the Senate Armed Services Committee, and U.S. Ambassador Dan Shapiro.
The visit of the U.S. senators – including three members of President Obama’s political party – is a hopeful sign that the relationship between the United States and Israel will remain strong. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and all of Israel as well as for stability in the Middle East as many countries face threats from Muslim extremist groups.
