Myosotis (pron.: /ˌmaɪ.əˈsoʊtɪs/;[1] from the Greek: "mouse's ear", after the leaf.

The last flowers of my Forget-Me-Nots in my garden. They formed a blue carpet on my flower beds - and the good thing is: they sow out easily. So I'll have them every year from new ...

Martha had it all before the accident. A husband, a home and a face. And after years on a waiting list, the doctors have finally located a donor. Except that this face fails to meet one minor specification. Because this face once belonged to a boy called Ethan.
But is it husband Fergus or her own body that poses the greatest threat of rejection? Can Ethan’s role in a fake Take That relight the long forgotten teenager in Martha? And why does how we look at people and what we see in them differ on such a catastrophic and cruel scale?

Roadside Flower #5. Foreget-me-nots, (Impatiens capensis); also called "Jewel Weed." Common in moist woods and roadside ditches. The fruit explodes on touch; hence it is also called "Touch-Me-Not."
The leaves and the juice from the stem of Jewelweed are used by herbalists (and occasional Boy Scout) to cure/relieve poison ivy and other plant induced rashes, and other types of dermatitis.
I forget the exact details of the narrative, but basically, the two buildings of the factory were built over time and some change in specifications and/or economic collapse caused a change in floor plans, such that the connecting pieces, which had been intended as straightforward diagonals, had to skew in the X/Y plane as well as the Z dimension. This gives the factory a wonderfully Piranesian quality rarely found combined with such a puritanically Functionalist aesthetic.
