Taken in the backyard of my Grandparents home that was recently sold. I am quite attracted to this crazy abstract painting-like bokeh.
Ironically, this flower represents my grandparents home and the abundance of memories that we will forget not.

(what happened to the exif? I guess my painting software likes to eat it for lunch since I edited in there today instead of the native win10 editor...)

It seems that they haven't forgotten. Doing the gardens up at Northcote War Memorial.
I always have mixed feelings about these things.
Good that people take care and don't forget the lessons of war. Good that brave people did what they thought was right in "defending" their country.
Reactions to the fact that my country has fought its wars in other lands which means we were not attacked and generally were there helping someone who was actually the agressor, usually Britain or USA.
First we need to learn that wars are not what we are told they are. They are an upwelling of pent up emotions, stirred up by people who manipulate things for generally greedy objectives. All the patriotism and such is just a means to try and shut up the people who know better.
