I found out after talking to a park ranger that these forget me nots are invasive and not really wanted. They have plans to try and remove as many as they could. I seen em like this all over in the park. and for those of you still reading this the park ranger took my picnic basket
A monument to "our Confederate Dead" by the local Daughters of the Confederacy. Even growing up in Arkansas, the extent of fetishizing of the Civil War that takes place in Georgia, especially in rural small towns, simply amazes me.
EWSHS/MAC staff members and stonemasons place a basalt column in preparation for the exhibition Marie Watt: Forget-me-not April 25, 2009 – October 26, 2009 at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture.
This basalt column is part of the artwork Forget-me-not: Blossom.
I got the idea for this pic from: Watcher in the Woods, one of my favorite scary movies, (which isnt really scary..... unless your 10).
I love this, even if I do say so myself. :o)

This is in Haughton Lane, Shifnal, and while I was crouching down, the man who lives in the house opposite came over and had a chat. He was interested in what I was doing as he's actually planted most of the wild-flowers that pop up in this particular spot.
