The Forget-Me-Not. Legend tells of a knight who, while picking these flowers for his sweetheart, fell into a river. As the current swept him away, never to be seen again, he threw the flowers to her, yelling “Forget me not!”
Today was one of those days that Elsa and I will never forget. We had the privilege of co-sponsoring a training event with Kings Foundation at a remote village called Kudamatse. Its population is around 2,000 and like most villages in Botswana, the largest population group in the village is children (that’s what happens in a land where HIV is so prevalent). Kings Foundation is a Christian Ministry Group to Children based in the UK. Victor, our trainer from Kings Foundation, taught us all kinds of games we can use with children to keep their attention while a message is being taught. We held the event at the Primary School in Kudamatse where close to 400 children attend. Here you can see the kids playing a game called “The Hungry Lion” with a parachute. Victor is an incredible person of faith who has a real passion for kids. The day was filled with memories that will not soon be forgotten.
These lovely blue flowers have the good habit to reseed themselves. A great gift from mother nature.

We arrived as soon as the rain stopped. I never knew of the wonderful history walk underground; I enjoyed it very much (i love 21st century history).
These are some of my favorite flowers. They are so tiny but so pretty. I found a ton of them yesterday inside of caving grounds here in Negaunee..

forget labels - they only bring people down - whether you're the one making the label - or being labeled - either way - it's bringing spirits down - everyone is unique - everyone is special - everyone is beautiful - in one way or another - embrace yourself - embrace others - and most of all - embrace God

Martha had it all before the accident. A husband, a home and a face. And after years on a waiting list, the doctors have finally located a donor. Except that this face fails to meet one minor specification. Because this face once belonged to a boy called Ethan.
But is it husband Fergus or her own body that poses the greatest threat of rejection? Can Ethan’s role in a fake Take That relight the long forgotten teenager in Martha? And why does how we look at people and what we see in them differ on such a catastrophic and cruel scale?
