Valley Forge was the location of the Continental Army's winter quarters under the command of George Washington. This historic landscape evokes a spirit of patriotism as these majestic trees remind us of our forefathers' resolve to establish "a more perfect union." As I gaze across this valley I am humbled by the sacrifices of so many on this very spot where I now stand.

1/160sec f7 (shot at 25mm...i think)
one yongnuo 560 at camera right zoomed to about 80mm on full blast to give detail to the trunk of the tree. I had to nuke it b/c camera was mounted about 100 feet back to get a wide enough shot to see the tree and valley in the background. The tree is backlit by the setting sun. I waited until the sun was coming through the leaves to get desired amount of lens flare.
