Valley Forge National Historic Park 20 miles north of Philadelphia PA. It's huge and well used (biking (bike rentals), hiking, walking trails, trolly tours, picnic) and FREE! And very, very clean. Amazing place to spend a day.
From the site: In 1777 British strategy included a plan to capture Philadelphia, the patriot capital.To accomplish this, the British commander in chief, Sir William Howe, landed nearly 17,000 of His Majestyās finest troops at the head of Chesapeake Bay. To oppose them, General George Washington marched his 12,000-man army from New Jersey. People often picture the Continental Army of 1777 as a ragtag bunch of inexperienced fighters. But Washingtonās men fought with skill and were often on the offensive while campaigning against superior numbers of professional soldiers.
This small wheel-thrown bowl is by Ernest Wilson, one of the co-founders of the Pigeon Forge Pottery in 1946, and he worked there through 1969. This example has an excellent uranium glaze. It is hand-incised "Pigeon Forge Pottery Tenn. E. Wilson" and was found in Chicago.

Ce slogan rĆ©sumait Ć lui seul le sentiment gĆ©nĆ©ral des quelques 30 000 personnes rassemblĆ©es autour de Roberto D'Orazio (qui Ć©tait lāanimateur de la Section Syndicale FGTB) qui, le 2 fĆ©vrier 1997 Ć Clabecq, participaient Ć la marche Ā« multicolore Ā» pour lāemploi. La foule, qui sāĆ©tait dĆ©placĆ©e de toute la partie francophone du pays, rejointe par quelques contingents syndicalistes flamands, a constituĆ© un des plus importants rassemblements en Belgique
I wasn't able to take handheld shots like these with my D80. This is iso 1600, and still looks very good. I didn't do any special noise reduction, other than the Lightroom default.
