The extended forecast for Orlando at the time we left Wisconsin had the low temperature in the upper 30s and the high in the upper 50s. That is considered pretty cold for Florida. I (nor the meteorologists) foresaw the temperature falling even further.
If I had been at home, I would have had plenty of clothing options to be outside comfortably for hours with a 11° windchill. Staying in wasn't an option because it was the last day of Dinoland USA at Animal Kingdom, and specifically the Dinosaur ride. We planned to rope drop the attraction since we just happened to be in Orlando for this historic day. Rope dropping involves standing in a line outside the park for 60 to 90 minutes or so before we can even board the attraction, so my option was LAYERS:
*2 pair knee socks
*1 pair tech pants
*1 pair baggy jeans
*2 long sleeve tees
*1 tee
*1 hoodie
*1 polar fleece jacket
*1 rain parka (to block the wind)
I felt like the kid from A Christmas Story who couldn't put his arms down...but look, Mom! No hypothermia! I was able to drop the rain parka once the sun was up at least.

According to the definition it´s still wind - I would call it storm. Stay low to the ground! Very windy weather since 3 days. Luckily no rain and warm temperature of 8°C.
