This exhibit for the 2010 Census was the result of a partnership with Hennepin County, Forecast Public Art, Minnesota History Center and MCAD DesignWorks. It's concept and design was executed by Tomás Villasenior '09 and Michael Aberman '11. The exhibit will be on view through March.

Another collaborative project between myself and an aspiring stylist. For this collaboration we were required to forecast the fashion trend for AW16-17 and produce a series of fashion images displaying what we think we AW16-17 would look like. After doing some research into fashion forecasting we discovered that future of fashion is to be genderless. We also discovered an Artisan theme that would be quite popular during AW16-17 and decided to work with both of these ideas. We created a colour pallet based upon the Artisan theme to determine what outfits would look good. To keep the idea of genderless fashion in our shoot we decided we would do this within the form of the model's accessories; for example the ladies bag and purse. As a team we mutually agreed that an urban/rundown location would be suitable for this shoot as it would compliment the Artisan colours and achieve the look we were going for.
This guy's cousin said, "an early spring." Well, six weeks later, there's still snow on the ground. I took this the other day when I was working from home.
This is the first we have seen of the groundhogs this year. And, hopefully, the last we have seen of the snow.

the sun setting leaving some dramatic inpression on the clouds, making a nice gradient from orange to the darkest of blue. And as they say; red skies by setting sun, brings wind for the day to come.
I got a little bored and a lot intrigued on the drive home from thanksgiving dinner with my fam. The clouds and the way the sun was showing through them was gorgeous and amazing.
The way you could see the outline of the sun (there's a note on it) was so awesome! It was so pretty but I wish I had gotten a better, closer Picture of it.

The forecast for today was supposed to be thunderstorms, so I'd saved a lot of the indoor shots for today.

The map of Southern California is half-flooded.
Actually, it's not at all accurate as a forecast! The flooded area of the map includes some hilly and even mountainous areas.

Forecast called for Mount Saint Helens to be in the clouds by 11am. Well, it's 10:45, and it sure looks like that would've been a damn fine destination today, too!
