Although the forecast was for a warm day, the wind gusts in the region were predicted to be as high as 50 km's per hour, so we elected to explore the more sheltered route to the Memorial Lakes above Kananaskis Village. Ordinarily, Larry and I do not separate on our scrambles, but Larry was keen to summit Bogart Tower, and I was concerned about the strong winds, as well as our lack of strong documentation of the exact route. So I let Larry go ahead, and took photos from ridge below the Tower.
the sun setting leaving some dramatic inpression on the clouds, making a nice gradient from orange to the darkest of blue. And as they say; red skies by setting sun, brings wind for the day to come.

The event series was organised by MA Design Management and Cultures students and was based around five provocations authored by industry experts on important global themes: Digital Disruptions, Architectural Visions, Ageing Populations, Consumer Lifestyles and Cultural Institutions. Actually, it's not at all accurate as a forecast! The flooded area of the map includes some hilly and even mountainous areas.

Saturday, 6/27/15, despite a weather forecast of a total washout from heavy rain, over 51 die hard volunteers of all ages braved the elements to help us cleanup Lynch Cove Run! Together we removed over 71 bags of trash including a table, a 5 gallon bucket of cement and a lawnmower! We worked hard, and laughed in the rain all the while helping cleaning our environment and the community!!! We could not be more grateful to everyone who came out today!! Mother Nature helped us out again by holding off on the heavy rain until we were done for the day! You can see the incredible difference everyone made from the beautiful photos!
We would like to thank the Marc Tsakiris of the The Boulevard Diner for providing everyone with a free breakfast to start everyone out on a full stomach, Entenmann’s Bakery for donating plenty of donuts for tasty snacks and Chick-fil-A Eastpoint for donating chicken nuggets and iced tea for lunch!
