With terrible weather forecast across Scotland a couple of weeks a go I took a gamble on travelling on to Glasgow with the EPMG people for a day out. As it turned out I was only joined by one other person but it turned into a fabulous day out with not a drop of rain. Edinburgh on the other hand was soaked. Started out in George Square then headed to the Riverside Museum on the banks of the River Clyde. From there we headed up the river back into town past the BBC offices and the SECC and Hydro buildings. A great day for architecture photography. Hope you enjoy.

Actually, it's not at all accurate as a forecast! The flooded area of the map includes some hilly and even mountainous areas.

Forecast called for Mount Saint Helens to be in the clouds by 11am. Well, it's 10:45, and it sure looks like that would've been a damn fine destination today, too!

Art and reality are nearly indistinguishable in the early phases of this rainy-day painting by Portland artist Peter Rolfe on May 9, 2014, at Falmouth Road in Falmouth. The daffodils were planted more than two decades ago by homeowner Bonita Marchetti to honor her deceased mother. Since then, she has added more daffodils to memorialize other friends who have died.
The weather forecast was cloudy, but there was a large clear patch over Totnes as I walked to work this morning.
Usually when it's hot here it's cooler in the east but it seems everyone is experiencing hot temperatures today.
