High Force Waterfall
Taken with my Sony 6000, Great little camera. It was raining and there was spray coming from the waterfall, So left my Nikon in the bag. And took some quick shots held my hand against the rock and hoped for the best.

I tried to get out for a Utata Thursday walk but the wind was blowing me over and the hail and rain was biting. I stole some time this morning and it was wild but the tree was stoical as ever.

Cleaning up the undercarriage and keeping low on departure from RAF Fairford's RIAT 2024 display is this Hellenic Air Force McDonnell Douglas F4E Phantom II. Fantastic to see this iconic dual seat Fighter aircraft originally flown by the USAF in 1960. Often affectionately known as "the old smokey" or "the big ugly" Hellenic Air Force ordered 58 of these beauties in 1971 under the "Peace Icarus programme" and are flown 117 Pteriga Makhis combat wing in Greece.
I love going to "new" waterfalls, the sound and the first glimpse, through the trees is fantastic. Then comes the fun of trying to find the best angles. Scaleber Force is about a hundred yards away from a road and easy to access, down a path, it's probably the most beautiful cascade I've ever visited, did I mention the Midges though?!

Mill Gill Force after a bit of rain and carrying a lot of sediment hence the brownish tinge to the falls.
Scaleber Force is a stunning 40ft waterfall whose crystal clear waters tumble over limestone before plunging into a deep pool and then over numerous smaller drops.

Tatoi Air Force Base. Hellenic Air Force Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc MJ755 arriving home (Tatoi AFB) after a complete overhaul back to flying condition at Biggin Hill (UK). The plane was built in 1943 and took part in several military operations during WWII. After the war it was given (along with 77 more units) to Greece by the UK Government in order to rebuild its Air Force. In 1953 performed it's last flight. Then after spending the next seven decades in different museums in Greece as static display, thanks to the Icarus Foundation efforts it was sent to Biggin Hill (UK) to be restored back in flying condition. After two years of hard work, today we were able to welcome it back home.

The Dettifoss waterfall located in the Vatnajokull National Park is reputed to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe.
I was able to view the waterfall from the east side which makes it easier to photograph due to the direction fo the spray of the waterfall. Also I think you have a better view from the east side.
