A picturesque waterfall in the Yorkshire Dales near Askrigg in Wensledale.

The village has become notable through its role as the fictional Darrowby in the 1978-1990 BBC TV series All Creatures Great and Small. Cringley House, which doubled as the exterior of Skeldale House in the series is in the village

The beautifully idyllic twin cascade of Colwith Force in the Lake District. There was just enough water in to show the power of the falls without having too much spray. I also had the pleasure of watching two Grey Wagtails travelling up and down the beck with food to feed their chicks which were in a nest located just above the waterfall.

Hardraw Force, near the hamlet of the same name in the Yorkshire Dales. I believe it's the highest single drop fall in England (coupd be wrong). Sadly I could only visit during a dry summer when the river flow was not so impressivel, a beautiful spot nonetheless.

A hole left in the heart of White Rock

The beloved, 114 yr old landmark pier in White Rock, BC Canada was severely damaged by a windstorm that ripped through Metro Vancouver, BC Canada on December 20th, 2018

The White Rock Pier is a historic landmark dating back to the 1920's and one of White Rock's finest tourist attractions boasting over 1,540 feet of boardwalk.

In this scene, you will notice some of the remains of many destroyed sailboats.

During the storm the boats were ripped away from an attached dock, at the end of the pier, and were aggressively tossed around, beaten and smashed to pieces, by the high force winds and rough waves.

I appreciate your kind words of support and would like to thank-you all, for taking the time to view and acknowledge my photography

Depressingly, my DJI Mavic mini is terrible in low light. No problem though. just crank up the grain and make it look like a Monet painting.

Experiment using three images overlaid to accentuate the water flow.

A tall waterfall, though unfortunately with little flow due to the dry weather, passed on the climb up Whernside.

Summerhill Force, this time last year

Crazy Tuesday - Bubbles

Thornton Force falls over 14 metres, where the water has cut through the Limestone and dropped onto the sandstone rocks below. The heavy rainfall in 1816 meant that the river was high and the water would of been gushing over the rocks into the pool below.

The light was fading fast as I'd spent a fair while dallying* at Scaleber force so exposures were always going to be a little longer.

* I don't think I've ever used this word before so I just looked it up and apart from 'acting or moving slowly' it can also mean 'to have a casual romantic or sexual liaison with'!

Honestly, I only photographed the waterfall! 😳😳
