Well for some strange reason i really like this one, i had the shot in mind whilst walking along and went straight for it, however i later realised i exposed it wrong so it then required quite a bit of processing when i got home but after sorting that out and giving it some more colour, i love it! The range of colours that it contains all in one.

Treaty People Walk for Water - Stop Line 3
Minnesota - August, 2021
Starting at the Mississippi headwaters and ending 256 miles and 18 days later at the Minnesota State Capital, the Treaty People Walk for Water calls on Governor Walz to honor the treaties, respect indigenous sovereignty and revoke the permits for the Line 3 tar sands pipeline for the health of the planet and future generations.
The photos in this album cover the last 5 days of the walk, from August 21 thru August 25.
From the museum label: For Freddy RodrÃguez, butterflies symbolized silent witnesses to the atrocities of life in the Americas since the Conquest. Underscoring the paradox of natural beauty and political horror, the artist repeatedly transcribed the word "paraÃso" (paradise). The work belongs to a series that critiques the vicious dictatorship of Rafael Trujillo, who ruled the Dominican Republic from 1930 until 1961. Four painted bullet holes dripping in red paint and a row of red handprints allude to its violence and abuse. RodrÃguez's images and texts float above pages from the arts section of The New York Times, suggesting that power also resides with critics and galleries who determine which artists are valued and remembered. The title hints at tourists who see the Caribbean as a place of natural beauty and relaxation while ignoring its tragic history.

Kagel Mountain shares the roadside parking lot @ Dillon Divide with Mendenhall Peak & Iron Mountain #2 of Angeles National Forest. Parking lot GPS coordinates: 34.34466, -118.34966. Capacity: 3-4 vehicles, up to 6 if narrow spaces are counted.
From 2,742' trailhead to 3,547' summit, 3 miles one way, net elevation gain 805'. Dirt fire road with some stones, plus a short rock section. The truck trail has a handful of minor to moderate ups & downs. Stay on the main road. Don't turn onto any forks.
The summit is a very small launch site for paragliders & hang gliders, about 1/8 of the size of Marshall Peak's in San Bernardino National Forest.
