This 2006 Dodge Ram 4x4 is metallic black and only has 34,000 miles! It is in great condition, runs strong and shifts smooth. Plus, the custom exhaust gives it a nice rumble too.

If you have been looking for a nice Dodge 4x4 pickup, you will appreciate this 2006 model. It has obviously been taken care of and not abused. It has an AM\ FM CD player, cruise control, air conditioning, tinted windows, bed liner and premium wheels.

After doing our research, we priced this low mileage Dodge Ram 4x4 as one of the lowest in over 500 miles for one reason only...to move it FAST! Call Frank, Josh or Loren today and 719-434-8443 and come in for a test drive, you won't be disappointed.

For Auditions we got 10 Place! We hope to get First This Week! I hope you like it :D

She was up for it, though :) We went to Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour -- a place where everyone I knew growing up wanted to go to celebrate their birthday. They come out with a big drum and obnoxious lights and sirens. It's a fun way to embarrass your kid for a few minutes. At first I didn't think she wanted to go through with it after seeing them do it for a few other birthdays, and I would have gladly cancelled if I thought she would really hate it and be embarrassed. When they told us it was our turn, she said, "Okay, I'll stand up." And it was all smiles from there :)

I can't believe she's EIGHT!

Thanks to Cindy and Halle for the invite. Thanks to the folks at Get Satistfaction and Songbird for hosting. And, of course, the peeps at Terra.

This was my spare camera as my D200 is broken and I didn't realize I could have shot the Leica. Since my D70 L bracket is on loan, the flash was handheld which made AF, flash, nearly everything inconsistent.

Melbourne March for Our future was a snap climate action organised in a little over a week after Adani announced they were proceeding with the Carmichael coal mine in the Galilee Basin under self-financing. It is clear from the IPCC 1.5C report we need to rapidly phaseout coal and any new coal mine such as the one proposed by Adani is a disaster for our future climate.

We are in a climate emergency with Queensland experiencing record temperatures in an extreme heatwave along with catastrophic fire weather. Time for Bill Shorten and the ALP to commit to stopping the mine.

See my March for our future short videos.

Commission...

My very last commission, and my very last TBL.

For one of my projects in AS Level Photography, I had to document an event through a photo story and cover the 4 types of image involved: Establishing, Detail, Action and Portrait.

As the second shot in my photo story, this action shot has really captured the movement of the toast and really given it all some life. The action shot has allowed me to take a completely simple idea of creating toast and make it become much more significant and lively.

For the transit of Venus I set up an impromptu solar observatory. I used a mirror to direct an image of the sun down a dark hallway in our office. A piece of dark construction paper with a hole punched in it formed the "pin-hole" that focused the sun's image.

The mirror is the small rectangle held up by a pair of alligator clips on a cross-arm. In this shot the you can't tell that the mirror is covered by a nearly black piece of paper, the whole is too over-exposed.

The red book under the base was there simply for a flat surface for the base.

Casket for the Roll of Honour, Freemasons' Hall, Great Queen Street, London. 1939. The shrine takes the form of an altar on a boat. It contains a continuous illuminated scroll inscribed with the names of the fallen and flanked with lettering in metal: “Live thou for England” and “We for England died”. At the four corners guarding the scroll are the four kneeling figures representing the armed services. At the four corners of the body of the Shrine winged seraphs stand ready with trumpets to herald the arrival of pilgrims, alongside the national patron saints. The face of the Shrine has four gilded figures: Moses with the Tables of the Law; Joshua at the battle of Bethoron; Solomon in his wisdom; St. George for England. Binding all these figures together is a band of symbolic flowers. In the centre of this the soul of man rests in the Hand of the Almighty. There are some little boat-shaped forms at the base supporting the shrine and resting on the stone on which the waters of everlasting life are carved. Material: bronze cast, chased and enriched with patines obtained by acids, chemicals, wax and lacquers. The statuettes are fire-gilt. Work conceived, designed and modelled by Walter Gilbert. This shrine is Freemason Gilbert’s last – and greatest – work. The importance attached to it by Gilbert himself is evidenced by the rare occurrence of an inscription crediting the artist. The mercury vapour used to gild the figures may have been instrumental in the lung damage which caused his death. Contemporaneous photo commissioned by Walter Gilbert. File created from a print in the possession of Phillip Medhurst.

For those that have not heard of Chinese "Hot Pot", it is a type of restaurant where you cook your own food. The square "pot" in the center of the table is heated to a boil with an electric element built into the table. The left side of the split "pot" is a mild broth or soup, and the right side is very spicy (my favorite, YUM). The various meats (fish, pork, beef, etc) are delivered to your table raw. You then use the utensils to lower the raw meats into the boiling broth/soup, and cook it until it is ready to your preference.

For a random recipe from the net, this Finnish salmon soup really whips the llama's ass. :)

Funeral for Our Future - Service conducted by Stop Adani Melbourne and friends, officiated by Uniting Church Minister Rev Alex Sangster, Processional march by Riff Raff Marching Band, Songs lead by the Climate Choir, Eulogy for the Reef by Alan Cuthbertson from Stop Adani Melbourne, Eulogy for Nature by Joseph Birckhead and Audrey Cooke, Euologu for Children's Future by teenager Marco Bellemo, Call to Action by Rev Alex Sangster and Marco Bellemo.

A very moving two hour ceremony that started and finished in Federation Square in the Melbourne DBD on Saturday 1st December. It comes after Adani announced they would be proceeding with the Carmichael coal mine in the Galilee basin, such announcement coming in the middle of an extreme heatwave and catastrophic fires across Queensland.

A processional march ocurred across Flinders street, past the iconic clocks of Flinders street station and back to Federation Square.

The Funeral for our Future comes a day after several thousands students marched in Melbourne in a climate strike calling for Stop Adani, 100% renewables by 2030, and leadership by our politicians at state and Federal levels.

The events comes on the eve of the United Nations climate Change conference in Katowice, Poland, #COP24, due to start on December 2, 2018, which has the task of adopting the rulebook for the Paris Agreement that was passed at COP21 in Paris in 2015, that set the goals of limiting temperatures to well below 2C and strive for 1.5C by 2050.

For a photography project on light.

I hate my dining table in black.. It is so hard to capture the freshness of the salad.
