The Flickr Lounge-Sound
I really like this appliance. I had a Kitchen Aid before but wore it out. Decided to get a lighter one and this one fit the bill perfectly.
Food processor cuts out most of the work; in goes the flour, yeast and water mixture and the oil and water mixture and 45 seconds later, here it is.
Blueberry smoothie in cocktail glass. Blueberry and mint leaf garnish. Blended ingredients are buttermilk, banana, frozen blueberries, honey and vanilla extract. Human hand in field of view. Light effect in reddish background.
With flaky sea salt on top for garnish.
Another winner from "The Joy of Vegan Baking" book by Colleen Patrick-Goudreau! However, I did modify the original recipe slightly.
First attempt at sriracha hummus using a Magimix food processor that's old enough to be legally classed as an adult.
"A Somewhat Simple Snack"
Finally got to cut, wrap and bring in these babies to my IHN class!
They are very nutty (almonds and hazels!), very rich, but still fairly nutritious! These are a chocolate treat that's a good source of fibre, calcium and Omega fats - see, chocolate IS good for you!
And yes - you do have to press it out and chill it (oh the waiting!) for the chew factor... but the dough would probably be killer on it's own!
The recipe said to finely dice and sautee in butter. I paste any onion that goes in something I eat.

Fudgy, smooth chocolate and a kiss of sea salt is what this surprisingly healthy, vegan, gluten free candy is all about! I won't judge if you eat the mixture out of the food processor instead of pressing and chilling it... I did!
