The rising sun shines through the framework of Archer Daniels Midland's corn processing plant in Clinton, Iowa. The plumes are produced by a cogeneration power station that burns leftover corn along with coal to provide for ADM's energy needs.

B&G Foods bought the Crisco plant from J M Smucker in October of 2020. J M Smucker bought Crisco, along with Jeff Peanutbutter, in June of 2002. The iconic plant is part of a hugh complex located on Spring Groove Ave. as it crosses Mill Creek in Saint Bernard, Ohio. In it's heyday P&G's "Ivorydale" complex covered 243 acres and had 120 buildings.
Dry fish is locally called ‘Shutki’. In winter, many fishermen catch fish mainly to make dry fish. But traditional drying methods are used in the absence of a modern dry fish preservation facility. Most of time they dry fish under sun; these dried fish can bring them profit by exporting them.

Yesterday laid foundation stone of cattle pound that is coming up in 15 acres of land in village Harraipur. This Rs 4 cr project will be house to over 2000 cattle head on its completion in Dec 31, 2016, while the same would become functional by Dec 31, 2015. The project includes 12 sheds of which work has begun on construction of two. By the end of year 2015, the pound will be able to support 300 to 400 cattle heads, while more will be added gradually as the building comes up. Also distributed sanctions to 919 beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Bank Scheme to the tune of Rs 3.33 cr.

This plant - with an awesome neon sign - roasts Maxwell House coffee! It is one of two plants that roast this coffee for Kraft Heinz (their parent company). The other locations is in San Leandro, California (in the Bay area). Good to the last drop. Taken on Wednesday July 27, 2016.

One of hundreds (maybe over a thousand?) of motorized carts for moving whole large fish and palettes of smaller fruits de mer around from auction to wholesaler to distributor, all whizzing around and turning with a high degree of (apparent) ergodicity. You really have to watch it when walking around. Be aware!

20 November 2018, Kitale, Kenya - Fish leather clothing and accessories are displayed at Victorian Foods Factory in Kitale. Fish leather products are unique and extremely durable, while also being a far lighter material than cow leather. Victoria Foods employs more than 300 locals to fish the perch, which is then filleted and transported through cold storage to Kitale, where it is processed and shipped around the country and abroad either as fillets or leather products.

Canada’s oldest sugar company, founded in 1854, opened its Toronto Queen’s Quay waterfront storage and refining plant in 1959.
In a major move towards ensuring #ZeroWastage, we announced the sanction of #101ColdChains. Investment worth INR 3100 Cr. is expected to come in because of these cold chains. 2.6L farmers will be directly benefited and employment for 60k will be created with the sanction of these cold chains.

The building looks as though it dates from the 1950s/1960s cusp and is just old enough to have acquired a certain period charm.
The factory is close to its source of supply ...the vast vegetable growing industry of East Anglia.
Mineral Water Plant
The demand of water is increasing year after year. The per capita consumption of water has increased and given the limited resource of fresh water it is difficult for the countries to make available its population the fresh water. Keeping this situation in mind many industries have set up mineral water plant in order to obtain fresh drinking water.
Purification
The first step is water purification. Water obtained from the external source is allowed to pass through the purification unit and then stored in a stainless tank. passed through the purification plant and stored in a stainless steel tank. After purification water is taken to the bottling section. Bottling is done as a continuous operation. Purification is followed by Rinsing, Filling and Capping. The unit automatically fills, rinses, and screws the cap on it. Finally mineral water is labeled, packed and marketed.

What is the method for mineral water processing?
Processing mineral water from underground water resource or other resources goes as follows. Motor pump is used to draw water from theses sources or source which is transported to the source water reservoir. Coagulation chemical is added to remove the settled colloidal and suspended materials contaminated in the water. Water is then sterilized using oxidants like chlorine or other chemicals to kill harmful bacteria and microorganism.
Filtration is the next step. Using filtration system like Quartz Sand Filtration System gives good purifying results. After purification water contains very little amount of suspended solids.
For further purification, water is absorbed on the activated carbon which absorbs most pollutants dissolved in water. This also helps in the removal of the odors and helps in improving the flavor of the water.
After being purified water softening is done by passing water through the tank containing sodium ion. The tank consist of resin pellets and the softening is done by ion exchange method Water still contains small micro pollutants that are removed by passing them through tanks that are meant for this purpose.
Apart from this method reverse osmosis process is also used for obtaining pure water. In this process water is purified by using semi permeable membrane. Purified water is sterilized or disinfected and then packed for market
