Thanks for all your views, faves and comments:-)

Bridge over the River Conwy at Llanrwst ,Nth. Wales with the "Tu Hwnt I'r Bont" Tearooms.

I am gradually getting familiar with my new camera. I took it out the other night, ( just noticed the date is wrong, will have to fix that ), and I couldn't figure out how to focus and various other issues which I will stop talking about now because its embarrassing to be so dumb, lets just say its different than my other cameras and I will persevere, but so far I like what it sees, I think we will be great pals once my brain grasps its intricacies. I took this down on the dyke at Centennial Beach where it seems half of Tsawwassenites come to walk their dogs, jog, take an after dinner stroll, meet their friends and enjoy the fresh air and sunset view of Mount Baker. I just clicked away and hoped for the best and this isn't sharp but then neither am I anymore :)

The ears are flying around while the bright eyes are fully focused on the flying treat. The gray-black mouth of my 10-year-old Labrador mix is wide open to catch the treat in flight. You can see the joy on his face as he skillfully catches his reward out of the air.

It exists, this connection between humans and animals. In my opinion, you can see it perfectly in this picture.

It's a snapshot of the joy that comes from the sharing of play and affection between animal and human.

The picture was taken in my own small studio with super sync flash.

If you like it, I would really appreciate a like, a comment or a message.

Still wallowing in the archives ...

This place has a new focus. It used to be a 19th century Methodist chapel (a house of God), now it is being converted into residences for people. From theology we are moving, as it were, to anthropology. The reasons behind this transformation are, as one would expect, complex. One factor is that the congregation had a very high average age, mostly seniors and a very small number of baptisms, which, in the end, led to the closure of this chapel. The congregation had died out. Life in our village, of course, is and will be going on, just without the Methodists. We still have a small Baptist congregation and an Anglican chapel. The vast majority of our village, well over 90%, do not attend church. They are usually not non-religious, but they express their spirituality in very different ways. But that is another story. "TOOLS IN FOCUS"

Barred Owl in the distance focused on the ground below. The owl did fly down, unfortunately behind some shrubs and then off into the woods. Hopefully it made a catch.

everyone knows where they're going,

where the self lies,

but i've got my head stuck in the clouds

losing focus of my own self.

is there such thing as post-365 depression? i've got plenty of symptoms.

-loss of thought

-anxious when pressing the shutter

-drooling while thinking of ideas

want to hear something funny? go listen to my podcast interview I did for YoungPhotopreneur.com. Cheri Amour was sweet and funny, and I was awkward and nerdy! Get a good laugh.
