Tiger Bee Fly (Xenox tigrinus) Females seek unprotected nests containing large carpenter bee (Xylocopa sp.) larvae. If successful, the female tiger bee fly lays her eggs in the nest, and her larvae feed on the carpenter bee larvae.

A male scarce chaser seen by the River Waveney, Suffolk.

A tiny Atala butterfly took its time and posed nicely for us.

Euclidia glyphica. A daytime flying moth which can be seen during sunny and warm overcast days.

Family Catocalines - Burnets - Companion Moth S:- Euclidia glyphica. May-July Flower Meadows, Woodlands 26-30mm Fairly common in Southern Half of UK and Welsh borders
