For our first informal Friday Worship Night. Mainly aimed at and led by those18-35 in age, but also for the rest of the church (youth and older adults included).
Note: There's a 1/2" white border that you don't see here unless you go to lightbox mode, but will be framed nicely on our screens.
Rather unimpressive is Philadelphia's Penn's Landing. With such a grandiose title one may expect something worth visiting; in fact, it is a rather down-at-heel riverfront walkway that sits close to the busy I-95 freeway. Various bus services use an elevated roadway 'square' to turn around. A New Flyer from the SEPTA fleet has done just that, and here awaits its turn to head back west through the city centre.
It's a Corporate Flyer.

This capsule is at the top of the Singapore Flyer which is 165 metres in height. Each capsule is able of holding 28 passengers. A complete rotation takes about 30 minutes.
Had time to kill in the hotel room, so entertained myself with the Olympus OM 135mm/f2.8 legacy lens and an active corner outside the hotel.
I decided not to do any editing at all on these shots. So these are straight out of the camera, not straightening, cropping, sharpening, white balance corrections, etc.

Singapore Flyer at night taken from Marina Barrage.
The Singapore Flyer (Chinese: 新加坡摩天观景轮 Tamil:சிங்கப்பூர் ஃப்ளையர் Malay: Pelayang Singapura) is currently the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. Described by its operators as an observation wheel, it reaches 42 stories high, with a total height of 165 m (541 ft), and is 5 m (16 ft) taller than the Star of Nanchang and 30 m (98 ft) taller than the London Eye.
Located in Singapore, on the southeast tip of the Marina Centre reclaimed land, it comprises a 150 m (492 ft) diameter wheel, built over a three-story terminal building which houses shops, bars and restaurants, and offers broad views of the city centre and beyond to about 45 km (28 mi), including the Indonesian islands of Batam and Bintan, as well as Johor, Malaysia.
The final capsule was installed on 2 October 2007, the wheel started rotating on February 11, 2008 and it officially opened to the public on March 1, 2008.[2] Tickets for rides on the first 3 nights were sold out for S$ 8,888 Singapore dollars (US$6,271)(£3,150.83GBP)(€4300), an auspicious number in Chinese culture. The grand opening for the Flyer was held on 15 April 2008.
Each of the 28 air-conditioned capsules is capable of holding 28 passengers, and a complete rotation of the wheel takes approximately 37 minutes. Initially rotating in a counter-clockwise direction when viewed from Marina Centre, its direction was changed on 4 August 2008 under the advice of Feng shui masters.
